That post comes out as weird. It's almost like Fireedud knew the result couldn't come from a regular cop, and is wondering what happened that caused the scum result on his godfather.

Ha Ga brings a good point, only thing is what if he is a cop? Then we have a unexplained result on the godfather. So it is possible someone switched and we can track down another scum, except then we run into the problem that one of the day people could have done it and we can't talk to them yet.
