Why wouldn't they, did the writer of SINGS give them magic powers? u all need lifes. that was not an allien ship. u just want it to be so u have some sucurity in ur self when u go to sleep. this topic is stupid, and u all need to look at the factsdcowboys055 wrote:who says that extra-terestrials need the same living conditions as humans do?Rook38 wrote:Seriously, there is no other "alliens". you're the one who needs a life lol nobody is trying to make themself feel safe at night and especially not me i could care less if there are aliens or not. but the thing is nobody knows anything about ufo's. nobody knows what they look like, what they eat, what conditions they live in...so how can u say that they would need to be the same as us?Rook38 wrote:Why wouldn't they, did the writer of SINGS give them magic powers? u all need lifes. that was not an allien ship. u just want it to be so u have some sucurity in ur self when u go to sleep. this topic is stupid, and u all need to look at the factsdcowboys055 wrote:who says that extra-terestrials need the same living conditions as humans do?Rook38 wrote:Seriously, there is no other "alliens". Can't prove aliens one way or the other, (except assuming they exist by the laws of probability) but there are definately odd things in the sky now and then.
My family have a place in the country near Salisbury Plain, where the UK's armed forces train, and several times I've seen stuff flying around at night that doesn't behave like any plane or helicopter I've ever heard of.
There was one I watched for quite a while bouncing around the sky like a rubber ball in a washing machine, would have freaked me out if I hadn't known it was almost certainly military.
Doesn't seem likely that we'd be ahead of the US technologically speaking, you guys have got to have some pretty cool toys buzzing about in the air.

No, Rook, I'm talking about an offical site, not just somebody's opinion. Someone respected, intelligent, maybe with a Ph. D in the topic is a good enough reason to believe. Would you believe it if some homeless bum walked up to you and said "HEY, THERE AREN'T ANY ALIENS! I SAID SO!"? No, you wouldn't. Actually, Rook, maybe you would, but, you see, a normal person would not.
Here, for starters, let me prove you wrong about how you believe that alien life cannot exist because they won't be close to our sun.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun
Now, we know living organisms need three things to survive. If you ask me to prove this, it's showing how much of a dumbass you really are, and it won't even be worth arguing anymore.
-Energy Source
-Water
-Minerals
-Stars are energy sources.
http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/COMPLETE/lea ... usion.html
-Traces of water have been found on Mars, thus proving that water exists on other planets besides Earth.
http://www.esa.int/SPECIALS/Mars_Expres ... 8BE_0.html
-Minerals are created on other planets.

Therefore, it is possible for life to exist on other planets besides Earth in the universe. No one knows for sure, but it is indeed possible.

You cannot deny that every other light up in the sky is a star. It's a fact. There is a "sun" for every galaxy in our universe. It is possible to have other existing heat in our universe, and therefore, other existing life. The Sun is the name given to the star of our solar system.

Sigh.
Rook, you are so fucking stupid.
That was YOUR paragraph. Not a SCIENTIST'S. I just posted for you actual links to professional scientists and astronomers who study this stuff for a living. You, however, obviously enjoy making a dipshit of yourself over the internet.
YES, it is possible that that is a doctored photograph. MY POST SAYS that it is possible that other life exists in the universe. I'M NOT TRYING TO SAY THAT THE PICTURE IS AN ALIEN. QUIT TRYING TO DODGE THE TOPIC AT HAND.

rook u are a dumbass, u are dogding the topic
no one can prove that there isnt alien life and we have no proof that there is.
just cas something is an ET wont mean that they have ships or are a million times smarter than us. hell the first aliens we find could just be like bacteria.
as for probabillity read this ya noob

with over 100bill galaxis just in the "known universe" the odd's are pretty high that some planet has similar features as earth even though aliens may not need similar features. There is disagreement over whether the universe is indeed finite or infinite in spatial extent.
However, the observable universe, consisting of all locations that could have affected us since the Big Bang given the finite speed of light, is certainly finite. The edge of the cosmic light horizon is 15.8 billion light years distant.[4] The present distance (comoving distance) to the edge of the observable universe is larger, due to the ever increasing rate at which the universe has been expanding; it is estimated to be about 78 billion light years[5] (7.8 × 1010 light years, or 7.4 × 1026 m). This would make the volume, of the known universe, equal to 1.9 × 1033 cubic light years (assuming this region is perfectly spherical). As of 2006, the observable universe is thought to contain about 7 × 1022 stars, organized in about 100 billion (1011) galaxies, which themselves form clusters and superclusters. The number of galaxies may be even larger, based on the Hubble Deep Field observed with the Hubble Space Telescope. The Hubble Space Telescope discovered galaxies such as Abell 1835 IR1916, which are over 13 billion light years from Earth.
Both popular and professional research articles in cosmology often use the term "universe" when they really mean "observable universe". This is because unobservable physical phenomena are scientifically irrelevant; that is, they cannot affect any events that we can perceive. See also Causality (physics).

Football is right... There are no aliens. (Well, except the illegal ones pouring in from Mexico). You would think that with all the countless sightings of "Flying sausers" that they'd of stopped and make themselves known. But nooooooo...these beings have the techknowledgy to fly thought space at the speed of light but are "afraid" of humans. Give me a break.
