Sorry. Busy week at work. I've been a bit slow at updating this thread. Still looking like 29-28 with 3 games to be decided. I don't think anyone has held a lead of more that 2 games for this entire war! Definitely a good one.

If we finish 30-30 there is a 7-game tie-breaker. Those last 3 games are all close, it seems. This war could go either way with just these last 3 games and a possible tie-breaker left. It's been a great war!

i don't really understand what happened here; isn't the real tie breaker suppoesd to be sent within the batch 3 in the CC4? and aren't wars supposed to be in 61, not 60 nor 67?

I think Doc just copied and pasted from the quarterfinal matchup and didn't remove the tiebreaker language. The "war settings" spoiler does have it correct - in the event of a tie, there will be an additional 7 games played (semifinals and finals only).Batch 3 maps and settings exchanged ~ 4dubs, 3trips, 3quads + tie breaker
TOFU shall create the tie breaker and join as team 1.

This. I just copied everything from our thread with Atlantis and updated it as appropriate. I actually originally had it listed as 61 games when someone pointed out that Semifinals and Finals have a 7 game tie-breaker series per the official rules. Right now all 3 of the remaining games are too close to call. I'd say one or two of them have a slight lean, but they could easily swing either way (heck, we've seen several games that were almost completely decided swing to the other side already in this war, and I can think of one that swung at least twice!).

ah ok my bad; and no I didn't notice doc wrote that in the OP; I just thought it was the rule for the entire cup and didn't know there was some special rule for semi finals and finals. I don't think this tie breaker rule has ever been applied in the past though, you guys might be inaugurating?
