they are, age of realm was origanally called feudal war. I planned on making a trilogy to follow up this project. However i let DiM start the 1st chapter. After a while KEYOGI wasnt happy with the two in developmet so we changed the name with the INTENTION of changing it back later on once one of them got quenched. But now DiM has gotten ahead of me after a slowed doen production for a while and everyone thinks im the follow up rather than the other way round.

Realm is SUPPOSE to be the feudal trilogy, i came up with the concept of a trilogy to follow up this one (classic). However KEYOGI insisted on a name change. and after that DiM (Despite both me and him working on it) seems to have stole my thunder.

i also have to rant a bit.
gimil came up with the feudal idea and started this map. then i said i'd like to make it a trilogy with his being the first chapter and mine the second and then we both work together on the third.
so i started thinking about the age of realms but during the process me and gimil decided to leave this map as a prequel and the other one as the trilogy.
so this was feudal wars classic and the other one feudal wars trilogy. i got my name on this map cause i helped and he got his on the other one cause he helped.
and as gimil said the name had to be changed because keyogi (and i think andy) had a problem with the maps being linked or something like that.
and i didn't steal any thunder.

It was a castle look i went for. what maeks it look modern?
Castle stones tended to be flat, they did not stick out in the middle

I put the lake in to break the green up the green a little which i though worked nicely. What else do you suggest to break the green up further?

roads/paths need more width variation
Why? roads dont tend to largly in size, and at this scale i think there fine.
same with the cliffs
The cliffs where extramly difficult to make and i dont think i could change the width to much without making them look artificial, but ill experiment.
army circles are a tad too light
Ill lighten them
No reduce the lightness, make them less transparent
missing a number right of the barbarian castle
It will be fixed
and quite a few more. (my mistake not as many as i though, the road looks like borders )
The type font really does not fit.

No the old castles got replaced with these ones to keep KEYOGI happy.

Fileds are possile, but athte scale im doing, making mud fit is hard and mountains are impossible.
