They are on an older version of the map but the texture, color, and location of the army circles hasn't changed since then.

cool thanks. it looks good except for a few off centered coordinates. but the colours are visible and that's good.

Any chance you could id those for me? I tried pretty hard considering that the circles on this map are unique in being various shapes and sizes.

yes i know the circles are weird and we can't really talk about pure centering but here goes:

large:

central beach 1 - move a bit to right
central beach 2 - move a bit to left
central beach 3 - move a bit to down and left
uss arkansas 4 - move a bit up to be in line with the one on the left
right beach 1 - move a bit to the right
uss tj 4 - move a bit down to be in line with 5 and 6

small:

uss arkansas 4 - move a bit up to be in line with the one on the left
uss tj 4 - move a bit down to be in line with 5 and 6
central beach 3 - move a bit to down

Coleman, i just checked the link behind this one above.
The map is only 658 wide...this can't be the large image. It looks like an old small version before the red numbers were increased in size.
Can you check this please. :)

I just copied pasted the large image from this topic and the large image from that link. They are both 800x944.

Some browsers shrink images to fit on your screen if the image is all you are displaying. Maybe that is what happened.

Edit: Confirmed, I just made my browser window tiny after clicking the link and the map shrunk.

Darken the trench to trench lines since they kind of screw up some of the numbers, especially red and blue[/quote]

well basically the map just languishes around in the forge until someone somewhere has some sort of niggle with it, then i have to make the changes and re-upload. wash, rinse, repeat ad infinitum.

or at least thats the case with this map.

Sorry for not working on the army centering yet. I've been really busy. I won't try to set a time frame for when this will happen as I probably won't be able to keep it.

Yeah, I went over it once and didn't agree with any of the suggested changes though. I always ended up liking the armies back where they were. The ships being perfectly even looked very odd to me for some reason, as the ships themselves seem to be at a slight angle that the current army numbers seem to follow.

Although that could just be my eyes.

Well the dicussion on the previous page was about fixing the coordinates...I thought that was what we were waiting on.

it's in the ideas stage. and frankly i don't like it so you better change the whole gameplay because this one sucks.

as for the graphics don't even get me started. they're horrid

You guys still ignoring requests for German bonuses then?

The foundry remembers, you can't just ignore something and hope it goes away.

We aren't ignoring it, we outright rejected it. And then nobody brought it up again. If you are bringing it up again we still think it's a bad idea.
