Gimil...on a personal note....I have a scottish heritage on my mother's side of the family. For your interest is the below funeral notice of one of my clan elders (don't ask me what relation he was to me, but he was my mother's great uncle if that makes amy sense.

Mr Alexander Craib, who passed away in hospital on Sunday morning, was a well-known resident of Herberton, where he spent over 40 years.
Mr Craib was a native of Bankshire, Scotland, where he was born almost 71 years ago. He came to Australia over half a century ago, and finally made his home in the Herberton district, where he was engage as a cook.
Despite his age, deceased was in good physical condition. Recently his health was fairly good, and he was able to get about and enjoy life. On Wednesday he became ill and entered hospital on Saturday.
Mr Craib resided with his neice Mrs S. J. Davey, at East Innisfail. His sister, Mrs Helen Tarrant, died at Innisfail some years ago, and Mr Craib was the last member of the family, although there are a number of nephews and nieces. Mesdames S J Davey, M E Toombs (Lancelot), D O Robertson (Newcastle), H Brown (Hawthorne Brisbane) and the late Mrs J A Wolfe Snr of Mena Creek are neices. The nephews are Messrs James Forsythe (Innisfail), and James Badnock (Upper Barron).
The funeral moved from the Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon, being well attended by relatives and friends. The services were read by the Rev. S Dodd. The Pallbearers were Messrs A Forsythe, S J Davey, J A Wolfe Jnr, A Wardrop, W Wardrop.
The following tokens were placed on the grave:
Domes: Loving niece and nephew Jean and Jack and family, and Jim; members and staff of the Innisfail Radio Supply; Don, Maddie and children, Newcastle; J Wolfe and family.
Floral: Mr and Mrs W J Stitt and family; Mrs J McLaughlin and family; Innisfail Choral Society; loving nephew Jim Bunty and family, Upper Barron; Mr and Mrs J Waldon, South Johnston; Mr and Mrs D McGill and family; Nellie, Joss and family, Irvinbank; the Women’s Emergency War Service Committee; Jean and Jack Waldon and Toby and Elsie and Josie; Hellen and John; Jessie Howard and family, Brisbane; Mr T Carrick and Mr and Mrs A J Mazlin; F White, Gwen and Edna; the Wardrop Family; Maud and Mick and family; Mr and Mrs A Wilcox and family; the Puchard family; Mr and Mrs J Bavington, Tiny and Toby.
The funeral arrangements were in the hands of Mr W McGregor.
