We've waited so long, waited so long

I'm gonna take some of you on a trip so far from here
I've got seven tickets in my pocket, now babies, we're gonna disappear
We've waited so long...

I am not sure that Trump is THAT vengeful; he did not promote prosecution of Hillary, even after she called the election of 2016 "stolen" from her. He has indicated that if he were to lose, he will try again in 2028.
I see MAGA as a populist movement and J.D. Vance may carry it forward, no matter the outcome Nov. 5.
I could have gone after Hillary. I could have gotten Hillary Clinton very easily. And when they say, ‘Lock her up,’ whenever they said, ‘Lock her,’ you know, they’d start, 30,000 people, ‘Lock her up, lock her up.’ What did I do? I always say, ‘Take it easy, just relax. We’re winning. Take it easy. Take it easy.’ I could have had her put in jail. And I decided I didn’t want to do that. I thought it would look terrible. You had the wife of the president of the United States going to jail. I thought it would be very bad if we did that. And I made sure that didn’t happen, okay? I thought it would be bad.

Trump and his fascist underlings have successfully rewritten history for their cult followers. You can see this with jusplay4MAGA and his absurd ideas of how Trump is going to react to losing the election November 5th.I could have gone after Hillary. As someone who knows alot about religion, can you explain this to me? I'd thought Jews passed down being Jewish through the mothers side?
(this is a serious question, I'm not trying to troll anyone)

He wanted to prosecute Hilary, but wiser heads in his administration prevailed. There's a lot of crazy stuff he wanted to do, but the saner people in his cabinet prevented. Just read at some of the crazier things William Barr had to put his foot down on in the closing days. (Pretty funny, actually, when you have to count William Barr among the "saner people.")
The trouble with megalomaniacs is that their condition progresses; they believe more and more in their own infallibility and cannot be influenced. After Hitler won a few campaigns planned by his generals, he believed in his own bullshit and started completely ignoring the advice of his own generals and giving insane orders everywhere. That is the concern with Trump, that this time the sane people will not be able to restrain him and he will indulge in his crazier notions.
