While some major publications are stepping back from endorsements, others are maintaining the tradition. The New York Times, Boston Globe, Seattle Times, Las Vegas Sun and The New Yorker have endorsed Harris, while Trump has received backing from the New York Post.

The Philadelphia Inquirer recently announced its support for Harris, coupling the endorsement with sharp criticism of Trump, whom they described as “a convicted criminal, insurrectionist, tax dodger, sexual harasser, serial liar and Russian sympathizer.”

The announcements come as Trump has renewed his attacks on the media, recently calling them “the enemy of the people” at an Arizona rally and threatening to revoke CBS’s broadcast license.

She is terrible off-the-cuff, impromptu, without notes, without a teleprompter, etc. At least Biden could "smooze" and be a typical good-talking, and even entertaining, speaker. A University of Michigan student who is from China and not a U.S. citizen allegedly voted Sunday in Ann Arbor and is being charged with two crimes, six days before a pivotal presidential election.

The filing of the charges was revealed Wednesday in a statement from Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson's office and the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's office. The press release didn't identify the student but described him only as "a non-U.S. citizen."

The student's ballot is expected to count in the upcoming election — although it was illegally cast — because there is no way for election officials to retrieve it once it's been put through a tabulator, according to two sources familiar with Michigan election laws. The setup is meant to prevent ballots from being tracked back to an individual voter.

The person is being charged with perjury — making a false statement on an affidavit for the purpose of securing voter registration — and being an unauthorized elector who attempted to vote. The latter allegation is a felony punishable by up to four years behind bars and a fine of up to $2,000, according to Michigan law. The standard penalty for perjury in Michigan is 15 years in prison, but it's unclear what it would be in this case involving lying on an application to vote.

He only got caught because he walked right up and told the authorities. Had that not occurred, there would have been no way to determine a fraudulent vote was cast (and will now be counted). We would not even know this happened. Presumably, most ballot stuffers don't turn right around and admit it.

We must now reject the legitimacy of any outcome other than a victory for Donald Trump.

The amount of ballot irregularities that go unreported or are otherwise glossed over is truly staggering... and the side that benefits most from such malfeasance/slopppiness and thus becomes the side in power, is also the same side that has every reason to turn a blind eye or sweep it under the carpet.
