This was the delegate count in 2020 for the Dem primaries
These guys also made it to the primaries, but fell along the wayside.
Tom Steyer
Deval Patrick
Michael Bennet
Andrew Yang
These other Dem Candidates with their popular votes shown, withdrew before the primaries began.
Julian Castro ---------- 37,037
Cory Booker ----------- 31,575
Marianne Williamson - 22,334
John Delaney ----------19,342
Joe Sestak ---------------5,251
Kamala Harris -------------844

I am curious what makes you support her above a vast field of other Dems that have been more popular.
You and your other 843 guys seem pretty rare and exotic.
I googled up endangered animals and you guys come right ahead of Lowland Gorillas which number just under 1,000.

I've mentioned several times that Kamala was my favourite during the 2020 primaries, so you've actually encountered your second.

He already did in 2020!
Good analysis! I believed JD Vance was a good pick when it happened, vs Biden, looks like you are running away with things. Making big inroads as a party with tech bro money that had historically skew left... but god damn, people seem to really hate this guy!
Is it too late to change VP choice now that the convention happened? They'd probably have to off him entirely now to pivot and everyone is high on Kamala (re: her chances of winning) right now, but there is lots of room to f*ck it up from here. In CA half the time she'd be running against another democrat in the general elections so I feel like shes really still untested.

What I'm really worried about is, what the heck is a Cub fan doing in Texas?

This made me laugh. Good one.
What I observe at work is that everyone who says they're going to vote for Harris is doing so for one reason, and one reason only: She's a mixed-race woman. That's the only thing that matters to them. I'm not saying it's right, but I'm just telling you that they say things like "it is about damn time for a woman of color to be in charge". While I personally disagree that this should be someone's deciding factor for who they vote for, I wouldn't underestimate the enthusiasm that motivates people to vote that way.

As a non-American, I'm always blown away by how Americans make everything about race.
I listen to both right-wing and left-wing radio stations. The left-wing stations American stations spend half their time whining about racism. The right-wing radio stations spend half their time whining about reverse racism. Two sides of the same crappy coin.
Kamala doesn't even register as black in my eyes. If I spotted her on the street, and had to judge, I would say "Maltese" or "Tunisian". Either way it doesn't matter to me. I don't like her for her skin. I like her because she's a pit bull. Of all the Democratic presidential candidates (in 2020), she was the only one who wasn't a passive-aggressive whiner. She's a pit bull, she'll go for the jugular, and that's what the race needs, someone who will stare down trump and piss in his eye.
P.S. Blue Jays for the AL, Pirates for the NL. Everybody else can go blow a goat.

That's not a bad way to look at it. If Prick Rat would've actually read my post - what I'm saying is that people can't underestimate the excitement that comes with her nomination. The Trump people are badly underestimating that enthusiasm. I think it's a natural reaction to having dumped Biden, who they saw as a liability and see her as a plus.
The Pirates!!!!!!!!
