Trump tells you every day who he is.
An old man with dementia who love foreign dictators who will be a dictator if elected.
"These killers, these killers, these, they're sharp, you know, the Press gets angry, they said, is president Xi of China, is he a smart man? I said, no he's a BRILLIANT man, he controls 1.4 billion people with an iron fist, he, makes guys like Biden looks like babies, they don't know whether they're coming or going, yes, he's, the next day headlines: Trump calls him brilliant how dare...No, no, okay, let's say he's not a smart man, okay, whatever makes you happy, no matter what you do, no matter what you do, I say he's a brilliant man, they went crazy, because I called him brilliant, so I'm just going to have to say, he's okay, he's okay... No, he's a very smart, but, and, and you know what else? He's a, fierce person, you understand that? Some of the people here know that, what this means, especially some of the women, right? They know better than the men about fierce. I know the women, they know better than the men, THEY'RE MORE FIERCE THAN THE MEN! Oh her! Her! But, no, he's a fierce individual, he's a fierce man, can you imagine when he meets this guy? He thinks Trump is playing a joke on him. He actually thinks there's some kind of, that I'm playing a joke. He doesn't believe what happened. He doesn't believe the last election. He doesn't believe. He thinks I'm playing a joke on him. But can you imagine President Xi, Putin, all of them, they're all smart, tough, they love their country, or they wanna do well with their country, whatever it is, all ideology. But we have to have somebody who can protect us, and Orban was right, we have to have somebody that can protect us. Right now we have really low IQ people in there, we have, and the president in particular, he has about a seventy IQ, and he's going against two hundred and ten, it never works out, it never works out, WHEN I'M BACK IN THE WHITE HOUSE!"
That was was Donald Trump, verbatim, last night at his rally in Michigan, and, man, doesn't he just love brutal dictators? Trump really admires Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin and Victor Orban and King Jong Un. He thinks brutal dictators are smart and brilliant and clever and superior leaders. And he sure does love the idea of populations ruled with an iron fist.
And they cheered.
That Michigan audience, they cheered. Trump! Trump! Trump! They chanted in response to Trump's admiration of Xi, Putin, and Orban. Those Republicans, they can't wait to live under the bootheel of authoritarianism no matter how miserable it might be for them -- because they're pretty sure it'll oppress the people they hate even more.
Don't ever let Republicans tell you how they hate communism.
No, Republicans LOVE communism.
They love communist countries, they love the order and homogeny and the grim gray sameness of it all.
They love communist leaders so much they write love letters to them.
They love communist authoritarianism. They revel in their oppression just soo long as the boot is on everyone else's throat too, THAT's the kind of equality they'll support. They don't have to get ahead, so long as no else does either.
And, Buddy, let me tell you, they absolutely LOVE the shit out of cheap forced communist labor, oh, they love that so much. They love those cheap T-shirts, and the processed food, and the smart phones made in communist countries and they sure as hell don't want to pay an American a living wage to make that stuff. There isn't anything more profitable for American business than communist labor in a foreign country.
Perversely, they love the THREAT of communism.
Republicans threaten Americans with communism, oh, no, not that! Not Communism! While, with fingers crossed behind their backs, they benefit from communism every day.
Hell, Republicans can't get enough communism.
If communism disappeared tomorrow, Republicans would have to invent it, just so they'd have something to admire besides themselves.
