Are you going to say whether it's semi open?
Has there been a previous semi open game I can review rather than ask noobish questions?

A semi-open setup is a setup in which some roles are "open", and some aren't.
In the setup we're likely to play, D6, I roll a six-sided die 6 times. See here for details: https://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=D6
Say I roll 1 3 3 5 6 4
1-3 means investigative roles. I rolled this 3 times, so town gets a Role Cop.
4-5 means protective roles. I rolled this 2 times, so town gets a Doctor.
6 means killing roles. I rolled this once, so town gets a Vigilante.
I do the same for mafia roles, where I roll a die equal to the amount of town power roles - 1. Each roll is a mafia power role.
So why is this called semi-open?
1) Say Mafia has no power roles. They know town only has 1 power role, and that this must be a cop.
2) Say you are a Town Jailkeeper. You know 4-5 was rolled 4 times, so town has either a 1-shot vig and an innocent child; or a role oracle and no killing role, or a 2-shot vigilante and no investigative role.
Both mafia and town are thus partially informed about the setup, and the setup becomes more known the more players are forced to claim or die.
I'm personally more fond of matrix setups, but couldn't find one with a reasonable player count that I also like.

Depending on the amount of signups, I will be running a 15p mountainous (12 Vanilla Town, 3 Mafia Goon) or a semi-open setup which fits the playercount. Most likely Mafia will have 24/7 access to chat. I'm going to host things slightly different, so pay attention! In addition to the basic rules below, If no majority is reached at the end of the day, the player with the most votes is lynched instead. In the case of ties, a random player between the tied players will be eliminated.
Rules:
Game will start once previous one ends.
Signups:
1. Strike Wolf
2. Devante
3. pmchugh
4. Votanic
5. Swang918
