let's talk about Canada's euthanasia program, which I'm well acquainted with. If someone wants to die, what do you think is wrong with letting them do it painlessly? Any why do you think that letting people go a few weeks sooner when they are destined to go soon anyway would change the population?
Dukasaur I agree, I have zero problem with a well implemented Euthanasia program. Primarily patients with fatal illnesses that want to go sooner and avoid the worst of the pain.
100%
That is not what Canada is doing.
If you did not fully read my link on it I invite to to go back and have a 2nd look.
They killed a guy whose only listed condition was hearing loss?
Other articles are easy to find. The U.N. calls the Canadian program in its current configuration a Human rights violation.
http://www.ccdonline.ca/en/humanrights/ ... -29Jan2020Did you catch the story of the female veteran that went seeking treatment and medicine, but instead Canadian Veteran services suggested the idea of Euthanasia to her?

That is a far cry from people that are suffering from terminal illnesses.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64504386There was another country that did that. They wore snappy uniforms and would goose step for their Fuhrer.
Again, I would wager a guess that you and I are very close in position on the topic.
But as always the devil is in the details, and Canada has allowed some horrible things to slip into the wording.
People can debate whether it is intentional or an oversight, but currently the practical application ends up being the same.
