Americans Dissatisfied with Joe Biden on the Economy
“The president has been touting ‘Bidenomics,’ but the needle of public opinion has not really moved. Americans are just not giving him a lot of credit when it comes to the economy,” said Patrick Murray, director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institute.

A CNBC All-America Economic Survey finds that President Joe Biden’s effort to paint what he called “Bidenomics” as a success has been a dud. The survey found that only 37% of Americans approved of Biden’s handling of the economy. At the same time, 58% of Americans disapproved of his economic performance.

and what about Kamala, the Affirmative Action hire as VP?

Kamala Harris Has Awkward Moment, Forgets The Preamble To The Constitution

Vice President Kamala Harris spoke to supporters in Jacksonville, Florida yesterday at the Ritz Theater and Museum. During her remarks, Harris attempted to recite the preamble to the Constitution, but forgot the words.

Harris had an awkward moment of silence scrambling to find her notes that presumably contained the preamble. Harris can be quoted as saying…

“And let’s remember the preamble to the Constitution of the United States…. [unintelligible]…. (looking down) ‘We the People, in order to form a more perfect union,’ is part of the spirit behind our founding as a Democracy.”

Kamala Harris in Jacksonville, Florida
See a clip of that strange moment below… Let us know what you think the unintelligible word Harris utters before going into the preamble is in the comments below, we simply have no logical guess as to what it could be.

Biden's mumbling chat with Israeli president which saw him avoid eye contact and appear on verge of sleep was 'very CLEAR', top aide insists

President Biden was seen mumbling his way through a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Tuesday
Biden staggered through the exchange without making any sense, with his eyes closed the entire time
It comes just a few weeks after he babbled to a Connecticut crowd 'God save the queen, man' and joked about being 110-years-old

Democrats are not the only ones who has apparent age issues:

A few minutes later, the Senate minority leader walked back to the news conference by himself.

WASHINGTON — Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell suddenly stopped speaking during a weekly Republican leadership news conference Wednesday afternoon, appearing to freeze, and then went silent and was walked away.

McConnell, R-Ky., had been making his opening remarks about an annual defense policy bill when he stopped talking. He was silent for 19 seconds. His Republican colleagues asked whether he was OK, and a top McConnell deputy, Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming, a physician, escorted McConnell, 81, away from the cameras and reporters.

Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa made a hand gesture that initially appeared to resemble the sign of the cross. Her office later clarified that she was motioning for Senate Minority Whip John Thune of South Dakota.

McConnell's freeze-up comes after he tripped and fell at the Washington, D.C., airport earlier this month, as first reported by NBC News Wednesday night. McConnell was not seriously injured in the incident.

Finally:

People
President Biden Speaks Out on Hunter’s Daughter, 4, with Ark. Woman: ‘Jill and I Only Want What’s Best’

President Joe Biden has offered his first statement on 4-year-old grandchild Navy Joan Roberts, the daughter of Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts, an Arkansas woman who filed a paternity suit against the president's son in May 2019.

“Our son Hunter and Navy’s mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward," President Biden said in a statement provided exclusively to PEOPLE.

Navy, one of the president's seven grandchildren, has recently been the subject of headlines as Republicans have criticized the president for previously touting his "six grandchildren."

"This is not a political issue, it’s a family matter," President Biden's statement continues. "Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy.”

‘Categorically false’: Black member of Florida curriculum group fires back at Kamala Harris’ criticism

https://nypost.com/2023/07/24/black-member-of-florida-curriculum-group-fires-back-at-kamala-harriss-criticism/

A prominent civil rights figure who helped craft Florida’s African American history standards has blasted Vice President Kamala Harris’ assessment of the curriculum as “categorically false.”

Dr. William Allen, former chairman of the US Commission on Civil Rights, says Harris was way off when she claimed in a speech last week that the standards suggested slavery was beneficial to black Americans.

Who is Dr. William B. Allen? He's taking on Kamala Harris over Florida Black history curriculum
Samantha Neely
C. A. Bridges
Fort Myers News-Press

Political advisor William B. Allen, who helped approve Florida’s African American history curriculum, called out Vice President Kamala Harris for her comments on the new course material during a brief interview with ABC News.

The Florida Board of Education signed off on a new K-12 curriculum for social studies in the state last week, sending a storm of controversy in its wake. Opponents of the new coursework, including Harris, have spoken out against several items in the new African American History section.

Supporters, like Allen, have maintained that the outcries are meritless and many have not read the actual changes. Here's what Allen had to say about the discussion:
(...)

In an interview clip ABC News posted, Allen denounced the vice president's comments, saying Harris was “categorically false” with her remarks.

He went on to say that "the only criticism I’ve encountered so far is a single one that was articulated by the vice president" and that it was an error since "it was never said that slavery was beneficial to Africans.”

"I just want to foster and encourage everyone to take the time to read, or as I said in my response to the vice president, I think every intellect can understand the language written there if people only take the time to read it," Allen told reporters. "It’s only those who don’t take the time to read it who will misstate it."

He continued to defend the coursework his group helped implement.

and more:
Kamala Harris slammed Florida's new history standards. But the truth is more complicated.
Context is too often missing when politicians seize on something with which to paint the other side as 'extremists.' That's exactly what the vice president did.

Do you want more evidence that VP Kamala Harris is not up the job? Try these tidbits:

Kamala Harris Disaster Has Finally Exploded

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/kamala-harris-disaster-has-finally-exploded/ar-AA1eGtKx?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=b874b691c7ae4b6a888d267805cbd22d&ei=60

Kamala Harris Can't Stop Messing Up - To err is human – we all make mistakes. However, for those who opt for a career in politics, every word they utter today in public is recorded, shared, posted, tweeted, reshared, reposted, retweeted, and most importantly, securitized.

There was a time when politicians were remembered for their well-crafted sound bites, but today's leaders are lambasted by their gaffes.

Unfortunately, some politicians also give their critics a bit more ammunition than others.

That is arguably true of Vice President Kamala Harris, who has become almost infamous for her "word salad" and failure at times to deliver a concise statement. To her critics, Harris comes off as out-of-touch, ill-informed, and even condescending.

In fairness to the VEEP, a problem is that she was often tasked with addressing issues that weren't well-suited to her – while other times she was simply not up to speed on the topics she was discussing.

As a result, even The Daily Show has taken note of her gaffes.

Politicians need to be a jack-of-all-trades, be an encyclopedia for all topics, and recite facts on any subject. Of course, no politician is able to do any of the above without a team that prepares the individual. Harris often times seems to "wing it" and crashes to the ground as a result. She is hardly alone – but today, such comments take on a life of their own on social media.

Here are some of the more "memorable" and "unfortunate" gaffes she has made.

here is only ONE example from the source above:

North vs. South Korea
While speaking at Korea's Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), Harris made an unfortunate slip of the tongue that suggested the United States was allied with North Korea.

"The United States shares a very important relationship, which is an alliance with the Republic of North Korea," Harris said, intending to refer to South Korea. "It is an alliance that is strong and enduring."

It shouldn't have been a huge deal – except for the fact that it was made literally on the border between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Republic of Korea (RoK) with the former being North Korea and the latter being South Korea. She also failed to correct herself, which only made matters worse.

Kamala Harris and the Giggles
Though not an actual gaffe, the biggest issue for many of the vice president's critics is her seemingly ill-placed giggling and laughs that she often used as a response to serious topics. She may have used it as a way to show that she wasn't taking a hard question personally, but it also suggested she wasn't taking the question seriously either.

Harris has gotten better, but largely because she has avoided one-on-one interviews – something that could be difficult as President Joe Biden and VP Harris will have to hit the campaign trail.

Why did Hillary lose the election for POTUS vs. Donald Trump? here is one reason why:

‘Don’t Listen To This Evil Woman!’ Catholic Bishop Explodes on Hillary Clinton In Scathing Statement
Opinion by David Rufful

Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas sent a warning to Americans about listening to Hillary Clinton late last year. The former Secretary of State and two-time Democratic presidential candidate has been comparing pro-life laws in the U.S. to Islamic Sharia law in the Sudan and Afghanistan.

Strickland couldn’t remain silent on the issues any longer. “Please, please don’t listen to this evil woman,” he said bluntly. “Her lies and immorality need to be silenced for the good of humanity.”

During her remarks at the Women’s Voice Summit, Clinton said, “We have come a long way on so many fronts but we are also in a period of time where there is a lot of pushback and much of the progress that has been taken for granted by too many people is under attack. Literally under attack in places like Iran or Afghanistan or Ukraine — where rape is a tactic of war,” she continued. (Trending: CNN’s Response To Joe Biden’s Corruption Is Jaw-Dropping)

“Or under attack by political and cultural forces in a country like our own when it comes to women’s healthcare and bodily autonomy,” Clinton continued. “It’s so shocking to think that in any way we’re related to poor Afghanistan and Sudan, but as an advanced economy as we allegedly are, on this measure, we, unfortunately, are rightly put with them.”

“This struggle is between autocracy and democracy from our country to places we can’t even believe we’re being compared to,” she added.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-07-21/jobless-rates-in-half-of-us-states-are-at-or-near-record-low

After hollering for more than two years about President Biden’s handling of the economy, Republicans have lost the recession issue. And, worse for them, they don’t have a coherent economic vision.

Even grouchy pundits concede that the economy is solid, suggesting the administration is “sticking the soft landing,” as the Wall Street Journal put it. (“Fresh economic data this week reinforced optimism that inflation can fall without the U.S. suffering a recession,” the Journal reported.) Gross domestic product, adjusted for inflation, rose at an annual rate of 2.4 percent in the second quarter. The Federal Reserve and many economists now do not expect a recession. To boot, inflation is abating.

CNN
Fact check: Biden tells three false personal anecdotes in economic speech
Daniel Dale, CNN
Wed, August 16, 2023 at 7:00 PM EDT

President Joe Biden made three false claims about his own past in a Tuesday speech in Milwaukee.

The speech was focused on the economy and the Inflation Reduction Act the president signed into law one year ago Wednesday, and his economic claims in the prepared address were almost entirely accurate. But he also peppered in three false personal anecdotes, including two that have previously been debunked, continuing his habit of inaccurate ad-libbing about his biography.

In addition, Biden repeated one false and previously debunked political boast. As he did earlier this year and during the 2022 midterm elections, he wrongly asserted that he has significantly reduced the national debt, which has actually increased significantly during his presidency. He was once again mixing up the debt with the deficit; the White House made a correction in the official transcript, as it previously did with a transcript in February when Biden did the same thing.

serious question for Saxi... do you believe the Donald can win the general election w/out Rupert Murdochs support? This seems like a key relationship for his success and it seems totally unclear if he can repair it. I guess that cuts both way though as it's not like Fox is gonna rally behind Biden so maybe Fox will have no choice but to pivot after the primary idk

I really thinks the Confederates have again chosen the wrong side in their Civil War.

An estimated 7% of Americans now believe violence could be necessary to restore Trump to the presidency.
But 11.6% now believe force would be justified in preventing this.
