I have kids, and a black cat too (and a turtleshell cat, but that's beside the point, I'm sure).
And yep, sounds good to me. As long as we put a round limit on anything that could stalemate.
I would ideally like a bit of variety if we can do that? Doesn't have to be set in stone as a rule, but just.... not 5 of the same thing!
.SCuD. wrote:ah, I've just sent over a bunch of games. Not my best maps, but a couple I'm good at, and a couple that are a fun challenge
poly 2 hive trench
poly 3 Pot mosbi unlimited
poly 3 poison rome fog trench
poly 4 one of the rails, I forget which, foggy escalating
poly 4 bamboo jack sunny escalating
You can send yours over too though. happy to do them all together

I think he's poorly referencing the children's book "The Bad-Tempered Ladybird" But that's been around for decades (so don't need kids to get it), and pretty sure there was a copy in my house when we were kids. And not every kid is going to have the same book, so not surprising people don't get it. Bad MT.

With the follow up I thought it may have been a "Miraculous" reference, with Ladybug and Cat Noir (hence my black cat joke).

Could be that too.
.SCuD. wrote:That was fun. If you want to try again we can We can even try some novel settings if you want, maybe even have other people pick the settings for a few games so we can test ourselves on bizarre maps!
.SCuD. wrote:yes, sorry for no replies! Had a million games on as tournaments started, and I got ill.
I'm in. Tell me the rules, and let's do it!
BUT, I would go with asking community for 5 games, instead of random (as some random can just be awful and not work). then we choose 3 each, a poly 2, 3 and 4?
