Moderator: Tournament Directors

Essentially the issue seems revolve around to be should someone have the right to not be sent the commentary email. Craig doesn't want the extra work of editting the email list and feels the commentary is an integral part of tourneys he runs. The mods feel he should accommodate email exclusions.
Earth shattering drama I know.......
Is it beyond the wit of man to come up with a solution like putting the commentary on a forum so you can read it if you want or just don't enter if you don't want an email ?
Frankly if you are running a tourney you should have the right to dictate the rules. The mods should be grateful that someone is putting the time in to make CC a better place. I'm not taking sides here but come on sort it out ive got a league to win.
Mad777 wrote:Guys!!!! As I have explained in so many place in those Forums, the issue was about the CK Memorial event!!!! How hard is to read and listen rather than come here and blame CC team??!!??
It was Craigās decision to mix both event together and pause the Super League.
And yes issue has been resolved about the CK Memorial tournament as TO list revised and event to be revisited by those who will still be involved.
As far the Super League, it is not CC team who is holding anything. So get your facts prior anything else.
Hope you guys will really start to read and stop posting clueless comments.

Mad, Im sorry on this point I am going to offer an alternative to you.
Super League and the CKCup were strongly connected of which I imagine you are aware of. There was much of the same structure, concept and team, with a few slight tweaks to do it as a once-off memorial for a fallen warrior. A significant issue with one always had a strong possibility of impacting the other. A conflict in one always had the potential to spill over into the other (especially when one was still in its formation stage).
I continue to look forward to the day when reconciliation is had and we can see if Carl can catch up for Premier glory.

DavidCrome wrote:Please please sort this out! I was one of the players that was speaking and planning a league system with Craig at the beginning.
I said wouldnāt it be good to have a league format where you could get promoted and relegation and carry in season after season?
Then Craig made it happen! The work that goes into it must be madness and I like to thank all the players that help setting up the games and giving so much time to this amazing competition.
I look forward to every season, even when I have been relegated the last 2 seasons lol.
The commentary from Craig is brilliant!
Please please again put all your differences to one side and get back to playing the best competition on Cc.

My Reputation is very important to me, If I was a bit of a DICK about it, that is why.
It's really not cool what has happened. But, THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

I really don't appreciate you spreading lies and bullshit about a fellow moderator. This "article" is rude, cruel and completely uncalled for! Chanaka has been an amazing addition to the team, and deserves far more respect than you are giving here. He is going through a very rough spot in real life right now and is a gentle and kind-hearted person. I can't even imagine the pain he will feel when he reads this character assassination.
The number of messages that some mods receive is INSANE. I get 50 messages per DAY on average. And with Chanaka taking the reigns of the monthly challenges this year, his incoming messages have increased exponentially. His request to be removed from the list was VERY reasonable.
You MUST have a list of names that you copy and paste into the messages; it's really not hard to simply delete someone's name that requests it. Actually, MUCH easier than someone having to make a rule to block all messages from you, which honestly isn't ideal at all! We as mods can't just completely block people like that! We have a job to do, one we volunteer our time for. If someone sends us a legitimate message about a tournament or challenge, we're expected to respond to that message. If all of these are being auto-deleted, we can't do our job.

I am very happy to see that you will continue Super League and want to say that I am sorry for any part I had in this. When I read that message about Chanakam it just angered me so much, but I have no doubt that you knew NOTHING of what was happening in his real life; I never thought you did even for a second. I just didn't feel it my place to elaborate on the specific details of what was happening in his life, which is why I kept it so vague. I did report the message officially and included my response to you in that report, which is why king achilles and the other department heads knew. I am all for funny commentary and I appreciate what you do in your messages regarding Super League, but using the CaronylKluster Memorial Cup as a heading to say the things you did was going a step too far and people reacted to that in different ways, some perhaps too harshly.
I also have a reputation that is very important for me to maintain, so for transparency, I'm including the message I sent to you in it's entirety and I again apologize if I was too harsh.groovysmurf wrote:Hello.
