Welcome to Conqueror International 2020! Based on the Esports tournament for DotA 2, this will be an exciting, prize filled series! Premium is technically not required for any qualifying tournament; however, it will be mandatory for the final tournament, and as such, this will be a premium only event.

This series of tournaments will start with 9 qualifying tournaments (called Minor's) that lead up to the main event (Major). Each Minor will be a competition between 8 doubles teams in a bracket with predetermined rules (Standard, Sequential, Automatic, Escalating, Chained, Foggy, No Trench), best of 3. The top 2 teams will qualify for the Major! "But wait, why do I care if I get 1st or 2nd, if I qualify no matter what durr?!" Well Jimmy, other than not losing 2-3 games and earning a tournament medal for the qualifier, each team that takes 1st in a Minor will receive 3 months of Conquer Club Premium each, while 2nd place shall only receive 1 month each.
Because we want 18 unique teams at the end of this series of minors, no member of a team who achieves either 1st or 2nd place in a tournament will be allowed to attend any of the others.
The maps used for the minors will be Africa, Canada, Europe, Central America, Japan, North America, Australia, South America and New Zealand.
Once all 9 tournaments have been decided and we have our 18 teams for the Major, we will begin by splitting the teams into 2 groups of 9 for a Group Stage round. Each team will choose their own maps (no Beta maps) and settings for this round (map selection may be changed for Bracket round), and play a round robin of 2 games against each member of their group (one of each teams map/settings). Each win shall give a team 1 point; at the end of the round robins, two teams will be eliminated, determined by whoever has the lowest score in each group. These points will also be used to determine seeding for Bracket Play!
Bracket play will begin with 2 brackets, with slightly different paths to the grand finals! Teams with seedings 1-8 shall advance to the upper bracket (UB), while teams 9-16 shall advance to the lower bracket (LB).
UB will play 3 rounds of best of 3's to advance to the grand finals; higher seeding will have 2 games with their map/settings, while lower seed will have only 1. Each time a team loses in UB, they are dropped into the LB.
LB is more complicated, teams that lose in the lower bracket are eliminated from the tournament. LB shall start with a sudden death round, playing a best of 1 to see who advances, with higher seed getting to choose the map/settings. Round 2 shall begin the entry of the UB teams that were eliminated. Example:
Teams from UB will continue to be added to face teams that advance in the LB. All in all, LB will have a total of 5 best of 3 rounds, with the winner of LB advancing to face the winner of UB in the Grand Finals in a best of 5. Each of the top 3 teams will receive prizes (TBD), and the team that walks away with the victory will receive a GA medal (confirmed by Benga?).
