The new CD team would like to reintroduce events into the clan world. We are kicking things off with a popular event from the past that was unfortunately canceled before it's conclusion: CD's vs The World.
The way CD's vs the World works is we, the CD team, will play each clan in 2 games, one home game, one away game. Once all games are complete whomever has the most wins, CD's or the clan world, will win. In the event of a tie, one clan will be randomly selected to play a triples on classic (no spoils, chained, fog), the selected clan can decline if they wish, in which case another clan is randomly selected. It is simple, easy, and comes with a low game count, for the clans at least! Due to the game load, we won't accept all games at once, rather we will approach clans as we have an opening, ideally a batch of clans every two weeks depending on how things are going.
Clans can send games as either doubles, triples or quads on any non-beta map; CD's will send the same game type, but can only use each map a maximum of 2 times over the duration of the event. Clans will be required to register up to 8 members at signups (but may register less if they wish). Those 8 members are the only ones who can play in the event games. CD's may not participate for their clan. Clans can choose any combination of registered players in both the home and away games. CD's can freely choose any combination of their team for each game. The following settings are banned: Manual, Freestyle, Zombie, No Fort, Speed.
Prizes - Each clan will have one registered member randomly selected at the start of the competition, that member will receive 1000 credits. - If the clans win each participating member will receive a medal, regardless of wins - In the event the clan world wins, all clans who won at least one game will receive a Bronze plaque
Clans that wish to participate must post in this thread; clans will have until Sept 25th to sign up. We will then randomize the list of registered clans to determine the order in which clans play.
