Anyone with two slots available at all times can participate!
This tournament is part of the Token Tournaments 1v1 Grand Finals.
Ever lost a game, just because of a dice roll?
Or perhaps, because you faced a tough opponent too early into the draw?
What if there were an alternate reality, where those twists of fate... didn't happen?
Well, now's the time for you to find out!
Gameplay
- The tournament is basically two randomised 1v1 brackets, with the winners of each bracket facing off for the final victory.
- To be clear - all players will be placed in the 2 separate 1v1 brackets ("alternate realities"), and both brackets will have different randomisations (using random.org).
- If the same player manages to win both brackets, the final game is not necessary, and the player automatically wins the tournament.

XL Gameplay
As the 40th edition of this series, and as part of the finals of the Token Tournaments, these are the additional rules that will apply:
- The final round of each reality, as well as the finals of the tournament (Realities Collide), will be a best-of-3 set.
- The maps will change every round, and will be a random selection of maps from the 39 that have been used in the series.
- Maps across the two realities will be kept the same (i.e. Reality A Round 2 will have the same map as Reality B Round 2).
- The result of the randomisation is:
- Qualifiers - Duck and Cover
- Round 1 - Germany
- Round 2 - New World
- Round 3 - First Nations South America
- Round 4 - Canada
- Round 5 - Arms Race!, Iberia, Madagascar
- Realities Collide - 8 Thoughts, Europe 1914, High Seas
- There are 42 players in this tournament. This means that 22 players will receive a bye in each reality.
- For fairness, most players will receive 1 bye and participate in 1 qualifier round. This leaves 2 players that will receive two byes.
- The rules I've applied in determining who will receive byes in both realities are:
- Most number of Alternate Realities tournament wins.
- Most number of Alternate Realities tournament wins with clean sweep.
- Most number of games won in Alternate Realities tournament wins.
