There are a f*ck tonne of relatively straightforward things that can be done to improve new players' experience, but getting them done is extremely unlikely.

Just ask yourself if I was truly trying to farm if this is how I would do it? I can answer confidently no because in my younger years I actually did play an extremely selective set of games to push my rank and was obviously successful at it. At the end of the day I could do the exact same thing now with no risk of being labeled a cheat so why would I select this method?

I'd advise you not to volunteer for the guide program, way too much request via pm it's really annoying.
You can join guide games by having global chat open, request for guide games are also posted there, it's less of a burden that way. It just means you need to pay attention to the chat more often.


Don't know if there is a 3rd way.

Covid brought us a bunch of new and old players to the site, so I'm perfectly willing to condone someone who appears to show good intentions.
