for some odd reason, I got thrown in one of those crap games and i can't understand how to do shit. turns are 70h, so i will have this shit going on forever.
This is really not user friendly, any game starts with a tutorial, and when there are several layers of difficulty, you keep adding them when you level up in experience.... you give "rewards" for achievements and such... basically...if you're going to design a game... use techniques that every game developper uses so that you learn the ropes and get hooked on it. I mean... that's what lackattack did with this site as well for example... back in 2006.
conquerworld is so lamely marketed... I feel bad for big wham who probably spent a lot of time developping his game and rules; maybe it's fun, I don't know, but the execution is very poor to say the least.

It's not a user-friendly game. Agree with you there!

Turns are not 70 hrs. It's like a chess clock. You have 96 hrs to start, but if you don't move quickly your time gets eroded down. I'm not sure if the lower limit is 12 or 24, but there is a minimum. That 96 hours you start with is like a cushion you can use when you don't feel like taking your turn today, but once you've burned your cushion it doesn't come back.

It's a grey area. Triqqy games are not directly part of Conquer Club, but as they are linked on the CC website with no real clarification of the distinction, most people would naturally assume that they are.
