In case anyone wasn't aware since this hasn't been announced, you will still get spoils if you run out of time. Finally fixed the loophole that a few people would abuse. Good times.

Okay I missed that one. Do think these kind of things should be emailed, much better for the entire player base compared to an announcement.

Some people just don't read. Nothing you can do to make them. Anyone who actually cares checks the announcements on a regular basis. For the others, there is no surefire cure.

I have thought about reviving the CC Dispatch account for sending notices to everyone's inbox, but of course then we'll get the cacophony of whiners screaming "stop spamming my inbox!" Can't win 'em all.

If you don’t look at the big section of “announcements” on the left, you can also find the announcements section in the forum and find the red new ones that are unread. Or the highlights on the landing page are there too if the rest of it wasn’t enough

How many people who routinely log in out of habit and don't look at anything properly until they're in game do you think check announcements?

I guess I will see less escalating unlimited forts 1 min speed games now. Not that I saw a lot before

There were very rare instances in nuke/zombie speed land where I might miss 1 card at an opportune time but people that played the loophole all the time were very annoying to occasionally lose against
