I voted 5-5-5 in the poll but only because I couldn't vote for Africa to get 4 as a bonus. Yes it's broken, but South Africa has only one border and that is a port. In the north there are four terriotires but only 2 on the edges with only three routes in.
Seven territories but only three are on the border and connect to only four outside territories, 2 of them ports. Africa is worth 4 armies at most, even if it will be very hard to hold (and not worth it to try for) if you don't own a space in the north and south at the beginning of the game.
Other than than this looks great!
I would like to know what program(s) you used on this map.

The reason I say it should be 6 is because to hold Africa, you really need the two Atlantic ports to fortify back and forth between the two halves. This comes to 8 territories and 4 borders to defend. If you look at other maps with similar continents, the bonus usually comes to 5, but sometimes 6. I vote 6 because of how the continent is split. However, I'm cool with 5 too.
P.S.: For my map, I used Photoshop 6.0 or CS, depending on if I was working on the family computer or my dad's laptop. I'm also experimenting with a program called Active GIF Creator 3.0 (free download, creates animated GIFs) but I don't think I'll use it on my map.
