After these turns, Man from Modesto is now the strongest player in the game (at least as much as I can tell through the fog).

Obviously covering games in which both these players is against the rules, however it seems to me that Man from Modesto is also looking to gain from doing this. This is also giving Man from Modesto a massively unfair advantage in what are large multiplayer foggy games, letting him see a lot more of the board which we all know is impossible to just ignore based on the account he's playing from. To make matters worse these are tournament games. Rob plays a lot of tournaments so it's quite possible there are other tournaments in which this is happening.

Something has to be done. I only know about this because Man from Modesto announced in some of the games. From now on he could simply not announce his cover and still be breaking the rules.

AND, I was the strongest player on the map BEFORE Robellis went on break. It is FOG. IAC had no possibility of knowing how strong or weak any other player might possibly be.

So, I assume you, IAC, have been around long enough to develop some common sense, or to have maybe heard of LOGIC.

You have committed a giant life FAIL.

As a cheap, underhanded strategy, however, well done.

As for you, aptly named "evil semp", your fairness here is doubtful. Where are these rules posted? I've never seen them. And, I have read the rules a few times. We who have played many years don't get updated with new rules. Is there a new rule somewhere posted?

If not, I request that iamcaffeine be booted out of the same three games from which I have volunteered to withdraw.

Also, and perhaps most importantly, IAC should have given me the common courtesy of contacting me directly before any of this came about.

1. I stated that I was using the information I had from behind the fog to figure out who was the strongest. My statement that you're the strongest player after the turns is still correct.
2. What kind of underhanded strategy am I employing here? You broke the rules.
3. Did you honestly think it was perfectly acceptable to cover for someone in a multiplayer fog game in which you're his opponent? Bearing in mind you gain a lot more map knowledge having access to both accounts.
4. On what grounds would I be booted from the games lmao?

Actual official tournament handbook (revised in July 2009)

"Player to Player Etiquette" section, paragraph 4

Do not purposefully delay your games. Promptly taking your turns is always encouraged, especially in tournaments. This keeps it moving. NEVER purposefully miss turns to receive an army bonus. This is not as problematic since the bonus armies are not received until after the attacks, but it is still very discourteous. Give advanced warning if you are going to miss a turn or two, OR if you have a babysitter. Remember, it CANNOT be a person in the same game, and you should avoid having someone from the same tournament if possible.
