New rules were recently announced for the C&A forum, here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=225317

Note it says:

Unless what you have to say is actual evidence that is relevant to the case and will either assist in busting or clearing the accused, then either
1) do NOT post it
or
2) Post it here viewforum.php?f=6 in discussions, where things should be discussed. It will make a multi hunters life much easier.

Posting non relevant information in C&A may lead to you having a forum vacation.

Recently, I was issued a 24hr ban when I wasn't aware of the rule (which is my fault), and so was eddie2. This was because our posts were relevant, but not evidence, in a different C&A thread. Do note that whilst on topic, we were banned because the posts were not literal evidence.

Not one of the following posts is even relevant, never mind evidence. Three of the accused are moderators and instead of anyone being banned, the thread is locked and everyone is left alone without even a slap on the wrist. Why? Even if people weren't aware of the rule, me and eddie weren't either and we were banned for 24hrs. Our temporary ban was posted in the thread where we broke the rules so other users would have a reference as to what happens if you don't abide by the new rule announced by TeeGee.

I also wonder if the mods had been given any forewarning about the new rule and still broke it regardless.

Either enforce the rules equally or scrap them entirely but you can't pick and choose who they apply to and who they don't.

I've been wanting to say something about this for a while now. The Olympics need to be made so that they're for individuals only, or for tribes only, and not both. That's the only way to eliminate all of this bullshit which was first brought up about Fyrdraca and JPlo64 by josko, and is now being brought up again by dkmaster. I've also had my own questions but not really bothered to purse them. I think for the next Olympics, things should be streamlined and either remove one of the scoring systems (individual/tribe) or have two different scoreboards and two different sets of tournaments for them. The other option is to deal with this kind of thing every time and whether it's considered to be within the rules or not, it's still poor sportsmanship and makes for very sour games.

I only took a look at Icepack but of the 136 cc olympic games that are on going or finished he has only 3 bronze.I dont believe he is cheating in any way but perhaps caffiene should add him to the list

Josko really what defense do you need. This case is so wrong in so many ways.
1) tourney so should of been brought up with organiser first.
2) large team/tribe /clan event. Event is for overal medals etc. If u cant win u take ure rivals out making u go further. If 3 from a group end up in semis or final together it is obvious there gonna target others to go forward but thats down to you to pick up on it and get others in game to help attack them.

Ps iamcaffine you wouldnt waste your time reporting game play in these events. Dont make me laugh you reported me last season

So, since off topic comments / trolling C&A threads has basically never been allowed, was anyone given any warnings of any kind? Or were some of us handed bans for a laugh?

Bans were for ignoring TeeGee’s specific warning instructing it was being unlocked for evidence only

Yes, and I mistakenly thought posting on topic would be allowed, but apparently on topic posts aren't allowed unless they include evidence. I'm not protesting my ban.

I made that post before the new rule was created so suck it.

This is not a "new rule". If a mod warns you / tells you not to post unless its evidence, you are supposed to follow it.
Lately theres been more people ignoring it, so we have highlighted that with its own sticky thread. Its not new.
