I used to be. Here is the interesting thing. In speed game land, all of the people I have foed or who have foed me have eventually been unfoed. For people that foed me, I see a game they have up, it's a slow day, they unfoe me, and life goes on. Over the course of 6 years on the site there are only 2 people who I notice I'm still foed by, and I'm ok with those two because they just flood the chat with complaints every time they lose a roll
And I eventually unfoed everyone.
People have bad days, say obnoxious things.
However, I do think it is important for people to have the option of foeing. The site should be as welcoming as possible without getting into banning someone every time they say something stupid in chat, and I think the foe button does a good job of that. I remember when I was a newb I beat this one guy and then he kept joining my games, usually beating me, and talking shit. It was very unpleasant and I still remember his username even though we only played a handful of games.
I've been around so long now I can't imagine getting upset during a game, but reminding myself of how that felt makes me vote yes for the foe button.
Wait, if im playing multiplayer, not teams, I can really pissed... that's why I don't play them anymore!!
Does the fact that Foeing someone in Global Chat, also foes someone out of your games and effect you ?
Does the fact that Foeing someone from your games also foes them in Global Chat effect you?
Is the Foe feature good for medal hunting?
Do we need it at all?
