A mod for Mexican issues?

Postby nietzsche on Sun Aug 14, 2016 1:34 am

Is it worth having a mod dedicated to opening up the forums to Mexican issues? What about opening the forums to other minority groups?

I'd be interested in seeing people's takes on this with a view to making a suggestion thread based on feedback.

Yes, definitely. We also need more Mexican themed smileys, such as sombreros, macarenas, and burritos. Mexicans are terribly underrepresented on CC, which of course all non-Mexicans should feel great shame about, and we must correct this.

I'd also suggest that Tuesdays on CC shall from now on be known as Taco Tuesday, and any new game created on Tuesdays, going forward, must be played exclusively on the Mexico map. Viva la Mexico!

I don't see how it could be a bad thing. There's already a forum dedicated to Spanish speakers in CC. It wouldn't be a huge step to make.

Thanks, Nietzsche!

We need to build a wall in all fora. A wall that spanish speakers must pay for in CC credits.

In what way are the forums not open to all, exactly?
Anyone can post in Suggestions, CC discussion, Off-Topic, C&A etc. If they want to discuss Mexican issues, what is stopping them?

I thought he was from the Philippines?

Regardless, can we get a mod for Philippine issues?

I'd like a mod for Serbian issues too. In fact, I believe there should be a mod for each individual on CC.

I'd also like a mod for Serbia's issues. He and I can't be the only people who recognise that he needs better help than I can provide, can we?

Fuck off asshole, nobody is talking to you here. If all you're going to do is troll and bait, then go find another website to annoy people on.

I don't think you quite understand how being a decent person works. Here's a hint - you're doing it all wrong.

What do you consider to constitute a "decent person"?

Non-English posts in the forum and game chats are not allowed. We should allow Spanglish in the game chat.

I find it amusing how Sym delights in the fact that he's not wanted. Like, not here, probably not on any other website he may frequent, and probably not by anyone he knows in person either. I think, deep down, he ignorantly hopes a handful of people appreciate him.

I used to think so too. Now, I just feel it's fairly accurate. The only thing I question is whether he really hopes anyone likes him. I don't know that he cares one bit.

Until one makes the mistake of reading too many of his/her/it's same/same posts. Then coffee boys comments seem restrained and polite even. I'm sure we all went to school with similar characters. Characters that the internet has been a god send. Convinced of the validity of their own inane and banal opinions. Not smart enough to get attention in class for being bright, not charismatic enough to attract friends and followers in the play ground. Parroting the opinions of their current hero as their own, in shallow homage, fooling no one, even attracting the contempt of those less smart than themselves. Cue the internet, and emotional fulfilment for the terminally boring. The internet where you can spout the same rubbish constantly, fooling yourself that saying it often enough will make it so. Beat a single issue drum poorly, feel sustained gratitude when your intellectual betters deign to try and correct your faulty logic. Someone is listening to me at last, I exist. The poor simp then retreats to the bathroom to furtively touch himself in front of a signed One Direction poster.
