New Spoils Type

Postby guido74 on Sun Jul 10, 2016 5:40 pm

Fluke Spoils

New Spoils Type combines Flat Rate and Nuclear Spoils, called Fluke Spoils. Troops recieved for a set follow Flat Rate values. Territories owned by player gain +2 bonus, similar to Flat Rate spoils. Territories NOT owned by player are nuked, similar to Nuclear Spoils

Concise description:
  • New Spoils Type combines Flat Rate and Nuclear Spoils
  • Spoils Type would be named FLUKE

Specifics/Details:
  • Troops recieved for a set follow Flat Rate values
  • Territories owned by player gain +2 bonus, similar to Flat Rate spoils
  • Territories NOT owned by player are nuked, similar to Nuclear Spoils

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • Would add an additional option to gameplay
  • Would make many maps more challenging
  • Prevents Players from intentionally not taking a spoil as happens often in Nuclear Spoils games

- Wicked cool I think!! Fluke Spoils!! I love it!

- Now am I right or wrong to say that more often than not, You don't have the territory spoil? So would there be a way to make it so it's 50-50, so one is not always on the nuke, but the fluke? Or make it so it's more fluky? Still a very great idea!

- Just read it again, I'm wrong, you did have it right, sorry and great idea!

So would be a huge advantage for those playing 10-troops or mixed sets... but that is already the case, more so now, with nukes thrown in the mix.. or perhaps more balance.. so basically the only thing that would change, are un-owned cards that are played in a flat rate set are nuked... correct?

I like the idea, very interesting.

I love this idea seeming how I always get the nukes that hit myself and turn that into a plus 2 for me instead of nuking myself!

Exactly Correct.

Keep in mind in Poly games you would Nuke your other colors, for example red plays Perth Card which is owned by green, similarily in doubles, triples & quads.

Combining Flat Rate with Zombie would be:

Flom-Bay
