A couple of months ago a player posted a link on my wall, asking me to join games, I clicked the link to look at the games, they were speed games, I backed out immediately the next thing I knew I had lost the game, I didn't join, nor was I notified it started, I went to K A about it and got what now seems to be in retrospect a CC PAT answer I must have joined the game and didn't remember, no players on CC put up links with auto join abilities.
Just saying on occasion b.s. happens here and all CC troops rally to deny it.
Get it?

Was that why you got your ban?

As usual you didn't pay attention, I NEVER GOT BANNED, I said a moderator told me if I ever contacted him again I would be PERMA BANNED, and no it wasn't K A who said it, try reading what people actually write once in a while, it might be helpful to keep you from seeming to be cerebrally challenged

Ah, my apologies. Was this kind of stuff what got you almost permabanned?

yes, but that was neither hacking nor cracking... you clicked a link of your own volition and were allegedly added to a speed game you did not wish to play... totally different scenario... interesting response from the mods on that one, though...-Jésus noir

Owen I was not saying either myself or that player was hacked or cracked, just that he didn't know how it happened, neither did I, what I pointed out was 2 different moderators and the exact same answer for what happened. I still have the pm of the answer I got.

Ok. Wait. Let me get this straight, lest you be guilty of libel: you wrote to a mod about an issue and were told that if you wrote them again you would be permabanned? Wow. That is serious shit.

Let's see the proof?

Libel that's a grand term

But no that's not exactly what happened, after several times of pointing out a player was breaking CC GUIDELINES, the next time i said something I was directly speaking to all mods pointing out the abuse, and I was extreme in my criticism, finally a mod took notice I wanted to explain my reason in depth, the MOD then told me that if I ever contacted them again I would be PERMA BANNED.

And that's my side of what happened, of course the MOD has a different view and that's their right,

But if that mod wishes for all to see they are more than welcome to let EVERYONE to take a look

I have been a mod for other gamesites, do can and do understand what happens quite frequently on game sites and yes alot of times its pure b.s. someone is mad at a player and complains for no friggin G reason.

I've been here quite awhile. I've heard lots of mystical, accusatory, anti-mod innuendo over the years on the boards. It's all tantamount to libel (false accusation in print form) unless documented. I'm not friends with or in communication with the mods. No one but my team leader pm's me and that's all pertaining to my agreement to evaluate site communications and propose a new mode of transmission for site news. This forum is a mode of communication. I'm merely encouraging all posters to use it wisely and transparently. Mods and players alike. That's my only agenda as News Dude.

Cheers bud.

You got it very wrong,
First I stated facts, and clarified misinterpretation
Second I am not anti mod, that is your mistaken interpretation of what I said, not mine
Third libel lol omg
Fourth go to the MOD group that handles forum violations and ask, see if any step up and say yes it was them that dealt with me on that. If no one steps up and says yes then they are keeping it private for a reason, or they just didn't give a damn.

Sorry. I came across wrong. The key work is "lest." Lest it be.

I got your drift. I'm not pointing figures or even scolding. I'm just all about communication. And I don't think what you've said needs to be here. Without laying it out there it's hearsay. It is your right to say what you want until it isn't. It's my right to not appreciate, from you, or a mod, or bigwham, accusations being casually levelled on a public forum.

I've said my peace. You've said yours.

Cheers. Cya on the map.

Its an allegation. It may be unsupported, but that doesnt mean it is untrue. It may be found to be libellous if it cannot be proved or it is disproved.

Heading back to my hole now.

There is absolutely no need for you to say sorry in any context here, you pointed out what you saw as wrong, hell that is part of your job, whether real or just out of loyalty, and I get and respect that.
Open forum speak your piece means just that, and I am still thinking this is still an open forum

And as long as I don't lie or break any rules, I believe I still can speak my mind here, even if its not to the liking of some, correct?

And yes see you on the maps

Makes sense BB and jgord!

And see children? Mom and dad can have a civil disagreement that leads to growth and wisdom without resorting to name calling you little pieces of... ~ahem~

Heading back to my tree fort now.

certainly!! as soon as i return from this conference i am presently in, in Geneva. we are working to put an end to this global problem!!-Bj

That is reassuring, thank you.

If you can also include a cross examination of the various network stressers available, such as performance against cost, I'd greatly appreciate it. If you have the time, that is.

Shouldn't that be "stressors"?

No.
