It's not just premiums that have better dice than him. Apparently freemiums sometimes do as well: Game 16400066

The sooner you stop focusing on the dice, the sooner you can have fun again. They aren't YOUR dice. They're Conquer Club's dice and we all use the same set.

Again I'm not bashing anything, it's just a fact that North-Americans in general tend to not listen to any rational arguments, they religiously cling to beliefs while insulting whoever questions them. Just like the numbers I posted, it's facts not opinions, and you just did it.

Lol! Everyone now has better dice then him! I guess he doesn't realize how stupid he is sounding by dragging this complaining out. Everyone is wrong and everything he says is right. SMH! Maybe one day he will come back to Earth with his thought process.

You haven't responded to half the questions / comments that logically address the issue. Until you do so, your whole "theory" (regardless of the numbers you post) is moot. Unless it's only targeting YOU, then that's different. But as a premium vs freemium thing as a whole, it's doubtful.

how come other freemiums don't have the same issue? A freemium was able to make conqueror, how did that do that with subpar dice vs premium? How does this "business model" make any sense, chasing away potential customers? If it's meant to "encourage" people to get premium, shouldn't it be better advertised / well known that going premium makes your dice better?

Maybe he should go premium and see if there is a difference.

Postby BuJaber on Thu Mar 03, 2016 12:12 pm

I wrote a reply a few days ago but website acted weird and it didn't go through, so I didn't rewrite it thinking that everyone else has done a good job replying to you, and you'll have a fresh perspective. Apparently not, so here's my humble attempt.

(Setting aside the "true random" issue; it has no relevance in this context)

We all feel frustrated at the dice sometimes, it's part of our nature, and part of this game. I've actually had people tell me in the past that freemium accounts get better dice to encourage them to play more (the opposite of your theory). The reality is NOTHING matters when it comes to 'fair' dice EXCEPT the TOTAL number of rolls. If you take enough turns you will have roughly the same number of 1's as 2's as 3's etc. (Which you do, looking at your overall dice rolls). (Your overall dice against zazzo shows you being slightly unlucky, but if you played more games with him this will also balance out in the long run).

What does this mean, in a practical sense? Say you have a string of bad rolls, eventually your good rolls will catch up but you might not notice them. This is because it can come in a game where it's too late to make a difference and you've already lost. Or it can come in between medium/bad rolls, for example: you roll your dice it comes 345 opponent's 34, then you roll again 223 opponent's 56, then you roll again 621 opponent's 61. These would be considered pretty even rolls, but you've already had 2 days of bad dice, so where are the good???! Well they might come next: you roll 665 opponent rolls 55, you roll 433 opponent rolls 32. These rolls are much luckier than rolling 666 and beating 11. After a while these would add up and your totals would be balanced again. The player rolling the dice, or the turn being played, or the game being played, or the map being played HAS NO EFFECT ON DICE WHATSOEVER, THE DICE GENERATOR IS THE SAME. All that matters is EVENTUALLY everyone's numbers will balance out and you'll end up with equal 1's, 2's, 3's, 4's, 5's, and 6's.

Being 'lucky' is less about the dice rolls and more about WHEN your good rolls happen. If they keep happening at a late turn in a game you're losing, while the bad rolls come at the beginning of games or when you are winning, then it is unfortunate for you, but it does not mean your dice are worse than anybody else's. The stats don't change based on the situation you're in. If you flip a coin at home on a hot day and then flip it again outside in the cold on a freezing morning there's a 50/50 chance of getting heads in either situation.

Please oh enlightened one, enlighten us all. Clearly the most important part was the spelling error you pointed out earlier...
I was only picking up on the secondary points, since you covered the most important already ;)
