After 18 months of turmoil and strife, a champion has been crowned! Mr. Incredible defeated SuperWang by a score of 3-2 in a hard-fought Final!
Congratulations Mr. Incredible!!!
Thank you all for playing and making this a successful tournament! __________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Update May 1st
Mr. Incredible sailed through the Semifinal with a 3-0 score over Jim1086. SuperWang squeeked through his Semifinal with a tighter 2-1 score over I AM NATO.
The 5-game Final round of games between Mr. Incredible and SuperWang has been sent.
Step One is to see which players are still active on CC. I'm leaving aside the issue of if anyone wants to quit this tournament. I'll assume if you are still active on CC you wish to continue unless specifically indicated otherwise.
Group 2 has lost 4 players, while Groups 1 and 3 only lost 2, and Group 4 only lost 1. I will therefore re-organise the groups to even it out a bit. I randomly chose Fakyras from Group 4 players with 0 points to move to Group 2. This leaves the wounded Group 2 with 6 players and the other three with 7 each. That's the most even I can make it without another long delay to solicit reserves. I'll see if I can get some more reserves in here before we lose another player.

This is an unexplained discrepancy. For some reason you were not included in the making of the Groups, and Ico85 was put in your place.
I can't say why with any certainty. I have a suspicion that you missed the first round of invites, and JohnAarson simply brought in his friend (Ico85) as a replacement. Because it was never properly documented, I can suspect that, but I can't say it for sure. This is why Tournament Organisers need to document stuff properly.
Anyway, Ico85 has left the site. With no posted evidence as to why he was put in to replace you, my only reasonable action here is to take Ico85 out and put you back in where you belong.

I have now sent the two round 6 games (that never started) for Group 1 and 2, as well as all the round 7 games (for all the groups.)
The original tourney spec says games will be sent 1 at a time, but I think after all the long delays people will be happy to go slightly faster than that. The only freemium player is Kragomac, so if he can handle more invites I'll send more.

The original TO didn't specify, but I'm assuming that the groups are re-randomized and scores re-set between the Stages. It's what makes the most sense in this type of tournament, and it seems to be the way it worked in the Random Battles I and II (although I looked, and it's not explicitly stated there either.)
Accordingly, the surviving players are re-randomized:
Slickstick has now missed three consecutive invites and has made no response to wall messages or PMs. I have no choice but to remove him from the tournament.
One of the players who was eliminated after Stage 1 will be resurrected.
I've started a special 3-player tiebreaker game between them, but to avoid further delay, I have meanwhile invited each of them into one of the three games that slickstick has left vacant. Whoever wins the 3-p game will also collect any points scored by all 3 in the 2-p games.
I know this is unorthodox, but I believe it passes the test of fairness and will advance the tournament without further undue delay.
