I see deadbeating player every single day several times a day when playing speed games.
Want to see a list of the players that deadbeat on me just yesterday ?
Everyone deadbeat speed game. I see no reason to punish him for the one offense mentionned by you here.
Because everyone deadbeat speed game ( trench ofc) all the time, there is no line drawn to when or how you should deadbeat it. There is sometimes people that give up round 2. There is sometimes people that don't say anything and start deadbeating. Is it rude? Yes. Annoying ? Yes. Forbidden? No, what is forbidden is deabeating, there is no rule saying you can only deadbeat after round 3 or a rule saying that you have to tell your opponenent you will db. But deadbeating is actuallly ok, and accepted by everyone playing speed.
Therefore except if there is something else that the game you put in the OP, then I really don't understand the punishment here.
But, as Caff mentionned. I didn't ask you.

I didn't know I was talking with a child "I didn't ask you." Rules say intentional deadbeating is forbidden. Do you need someone to further explain that one to you? Report is closed, therefore mods won't respond. I figured I'd help you understand since Jacobsgold was clearly in violation.
Rules say intentional deadbeating is forbidden.

So if you announce that you're deadbeating now, that is within the rules? Where is this written? I didn't know that deadbeating had an asterisk beside it these days. "As long as it's a speed game, and you announce it, and one or more player arbitrarily decides that the game is clearly 'in hand', then deadbeating is A-OK!" Link please?
Bollocks.

btown80 wrote:you guys are failing to see the issue, and that is the 16% missed turn percentage. You don't get that without trying to be an asshole and leaving every game.
Donelladan wrote:Jacobsgold plays a lot of trench poly speed game, hence the 84% attendance I believe.
Donelladan wrote:Now, on what do you base your assumption that 16% of missed turns is too many? I mean, we have consider what we are speaking of.
Speaking of someone playing 24h games, 16% missed turns would be a lot.
Now jacobsgold played 8405 games on CC, among those 8405, 7548 were speed games.
Then among the 7548 speed, 5159 were trench, and 1324 were polymorphic games ( as everyone knows polymorph give much more miss turns that normal game).
Well considering that 89.6% of the games is played on CC were speed games, I do not find that 16% is too much.

btown80 wrote:Oh Serbia, you are one funny little boy. Confused as well. Please tell me, in the rules, where it states you can't agree to a mutual db of one side when the game is clearly in hand. It's the reason there has been debate over a "surrender" button for years. We are getting way off point now as well. If you have a problem with me, or something I said, feel free to open a complaint thread against me. It is within your right. Trying to start a flame war is not something I see as a very mature way of handling a debate.
Have a great day!!

Argue that there IS an unwritten exception for written agreements.
For a site of strategy gamers there really is a lack of logic at times on this website.

I don't see your illogical whining as a mature way to handle anything. You're the one who, in an apparent attempt to keep anyone from thinking you're capable of an adult and logical conversation, when challenged to prove an idiotic statement you've made, changes the conversation to say "well show me where I can't do this very specific thing!"
The rule is, Mom said don't take cookies.
btown says "I DECLARED I was taking a cookie, which is what I'm supposed to do!"
I challenge that by saying "explain to us WHEN Mom said you can take one if you declare it first?"
btown responds "show me where it's written that I can't declare my intention, then take my cookie! you can't! I'm the smartest 8 year old EVAH!"
Still just a child!WingCmdr Ginkapo wrote:You cannot argue that there IS NO unwritten exception for trench games.

Pretty much sums up all anyone needs to know about btown, the illogical dolt.
