For mobile users - screen flashing on attacks?

Postby macbone on Sat Jun 13, 2015 12:18 am

I don't usually play CC on my ipod unless I have no other choice, but I do like tapping to attack and reinforce. I can't drop one at a time as with BOB, but otherwise, it's pretty groovy.

I play in legacy mode on iOS. For those of you on mobile, does the game map flash when you make an attack? Does playing with panels stop the screen from flashing?

The flashing makes it physically nauseating for me to take a turn on my ipod. It's probably just as well, but tapping for attack is intuitive, and I like that.

i have too many issues taking turns with my ipad mini and iphone, to the point that i don't take turns on them unless it is absolutely necessary... my macbook also has funky drop downs and scroll bars and the screen gets all funky, so i try to limit play on there (mostly browse the forums and maybe take one turn if the time is getting close)... i'm pretty much stuck on my imac for 99% of my CC turns... wish i could roll out with my laptop or mini or phone, but it is just too frustrating... anyway... i'm sure this is on the long list of things to correct around here...-Jésus noir

Hm, maybe it's an issue with iOS or Google Chrome for iOS, then. What device/browser are you using, IcePack?

I just tried it with Panels on (how in the world are we supposed to play with our color on another screen? Yikes!) I'm still getting a flash every time I begin a turn, drop troops, attack, and reinforce. I already have a physical headache now after playing one turn of poly Feudal War. Is there some way to get rid of the flash?

Edit - There's no flash when I use Safari, so I'll just switch to that browser instead. Whew!

iPhone 5s (newest update)
iPhone 6+ (newest update)
iPad 2 (newest update)
iMac
PC Laptop

Panels off / on, didn't make a difference. I get jumpy screens on the iphones, where its constantly resizing. But not flashing.
Edit: yes i was using safari
