From the Deck of the Webmonster by bigWham show
Greetings from The Deck Of The Webmonster. *The Sprawling Mine Fields of the Club Skirmish Zone* Welcome to the new fired up Dispatch! Before proceeding we must pay tribute to the mighty Dukasaur that guided the Dispatch through many editions, before retiring to his summer villa on a snowy mountain-side at the delightful beach resort of SnowPlough Bluffs. Duk fought long and hard to bring the words, thoughts and activities of the community together in this newsletteresque format on an approximately bi-monthly basis... he was truly a champion for Freedom of Babbling, and a hero to those that enjoy knowing a little bit of what the hell is going on!! Thank you Duk, may you rest in peace... for a few moments, then pop up elsewhere in the community doing great things for us (all hail the Field Marshall of The Great War!). Back to the news, with our venerable new Dispatch helmsman, Swifte !*A Taste of Future Things* We know what is on the outside of the box - but what is on the inside?*Random Feature Special* Check out Campaigns - a new way to challenge your friends and enemies! Campaigns allow you to set up a series of games, all at once or in rounds, and battle it out with a set of challengers Even better... you can have prizes!
A New Year and a New Suggestions- Early January Feature by JamesKer1 show
Wow! What a year what a year. This year the Suggestions has gone through some crazy changes, including Community Discussions over possible features or changes, lots of roster changes, and a new pipeline for Suggestions, where we have removed the dump of Suggestions left in Submitted Suggestions and Rejected for long periods of time. As the year comes to a close, we have some more plans in store. We plan on a systematic mass indexing project- and you will see plenty of yellow dots all over the forum to prove it! We also would like to set up a way to discuss things that YOU want to talk about in Community Discussions. There are also prizes in mind, but they aren't fully fledged out yet so I won't comment on them, so keep an eye out for those!! And now, to some features of the past few months.Diamond Medals (2014) - ViperOverlord brings up a seemingly obvious- but previously unsuggested- medal suggestion about yet another level of medals that "should take years to attain" for the "diehards". As some players such as b00060 get closer and closer to a full rack of platinum, the deadline for this suggestion gets closer and closer as well! Go check it out!Inform Defendant of Pending C&A Report (2014) - Due to recent events in C&A around this time, clangfield brings up a solution to a very present problem that has affected many of us, including myself. He suggests that a change in policy is made so that the defendant is made aware that they have been accused of a crime, and the suggestion has been cited as a "fundamental tenet of pretty much ever reasonable legal system ever devised" (Dukasaur ), so why not at CC? While on the surface it may not seem controversial whatsoever, points are brought up against it, as well as comments from a previous Multi Hunter! In Game Team PM Button (2014) - While already available in add-on form, willedtowin1 suggests to make this feature a part of the website for access across multiple devices and freedom from downloading scripts onto a device. It is most definitely a good thing to check out for any hardcore team players! Happy New Year, Happy Holidays, and Happy Suggesting!

"]Greetings from the Chat Team This years Easter Scavenger Hunt went off without a hitch. BigWham and Blakebowling, came to the party as usual to make it impossible for DGZ345, or others to use search options,or underhanded tactics to find the egg other than those search clues within the puzzle. To be extra sure, we actually hid the egg 2 weeks before Easter. Guess the Map -- Contest Concluded by dakky21 show
. It's Over! For anyone just tuning in, this contest asked contestants to identify Conquer Club maps by small samples extracted from them. There first 9 rounds had 9 images each, and the 10th had 20. The images gradually became more difficult as the issues move on. As challenging as round 10 was, with 20 maps snippets of various sizes, including 2 from the map foundry... only 1 player out of the top 8 from last issue missed any! That left us with a 7-way tie for first place after 10 rounds. As promised a tie-breaker was issued to the final 7 competitors, via PM. Here's the final puzzle the contestants were given (hope you can swim!): Sure enough, all 7 of our stubborn determined competitors found all 9 maps yet again! After guessing 110 maps (nearly enough for half the maps on CC) - nothing could stop this group! Our winners for the event are:cooldeals Ffraid Flow520 grt Serbia Swifte Tripitaka Congratulations to all winners, and a big thanks again to the over 75 people who participated over the course of the event!
