I think international arbitration would have been a better route.

I hope there are some RICO charges brought. Start memorizing some of your favorite maps folks, we don't want to spend the next twenty years arguing about which terts are which on Waterloo.

And you thought there was no drama left in C&A.

A real shame it was locked. I understand why it had to be, but it was funny. The comments not the allegation.

Please sticky obsession gurus. What is the correct action to take? I suspect the owner of this site of cheating. How do I raise this in C&A, assuming an e-ticket will not be a good option. Help please

The Western world kind of shuts down this time of year ...

not about the time of year... when you go from almost 30K members to 10K members, you feel the effects... furthermore, when a prior administration waged an open war with forum users, banning people for life for made up infractions, a huge blow was dealt to the community... some of those involved in the killing/sanitizing of the forums still run around blaming the decline/demise of the forums on people using other things like facebook and twitter and instagram... i maintain that if you treat your customers like shit, they will go away... the black jesus has spoken..-Jésus noir

p.s.-there is a cool case in C&A right now... about to be a big multi bust...

That's about the most sensible thing I've heard you say all year JN, just look at Tesco. However, I agree with Robespierre, the last week has been very light on C&A activity. Of course everyone may well have been already busted????

I've played with 2 people in the past week (one multiple games) that are for sure multis... One I've already busted before, so at this point... Who cares... And if I don't care, nobody cares... Too much work to put in for nothing to happen...

Uncle Death wrote:Why such a big deal about using some silly form to report abuse or cheating? Wouldn't just listing the game, the player, and the complaint be adequate? It just seems an exercise in OCD to do it in the way asked. If it's really necessary than why not have a tab to make a complaint if it's that important, like Wufoo?

The point is that you're requesting someone, an unpaid volunteer who owes you nothing, to do some work and investigate something on your behalf. If you don't respect their time enough to do the preparatory work and have the game numbers properly linked, etc., why should they bother?

We're talking about site rules violations here. Presumably the site wants to know if someone is breaking the rules, it's not just an issue of someone being mad at someone else for a personal disagreement. So this argument is fairly weak.

It's not weak. Both the C&A volunteers/multi hunters and those reporting cheats are trying to improve the playing experience and fairness of the game, therefore they should both make an effort to work together. The form is hardly difficult to understand.

Sure, but why do we need to burden the C&A volunteers at all? Crowdsource the work by empowering us with ban buttons, and we'll do the investigations and carry out the sentences by ourselves.

yesterday was a doozie, capped off with a spurious report by a member that did not see, was not present and had nothing to do with the event he was basing his complaint off of... sometimes, a good ol' witch hunt is what this site needs... and i don't mind being tied to the stake, saved by King A at the last second...

Subject: Owenshooter: Flagrant Violations of Community Guidelines

C&A has had it's share of odd reports lately: computers taking turns, the old rock on the key trick, multi accusations, etc..., but most seem to be spurious... i still think C&A is worth poking in on from time to time... if only to see which of my stalkers has started a new spurious report... the black jesus has spoken...-Jésus noir
