Yes. See Post 1 for the "Conscription Rule" and Post 3 for the "Player Order for the Draft."
The Conscription Rule was originally created just to balance out the size of games, but it has proven itself to be enormously useful in covering for players who drop out unexpectedly. I guess I never explicitly said so when I expanded the role of the Conscription Rule, but it's a natural extension, not in any way incompatible with the original intention.

As described in conscription rule. You get the better of your two scores, but not both. Win one game, you score 3 points. Win both games and you still only score 3 points, nothing extra. The bonus to you is that you get two chances at a win.
