This is a Tournament Players Association Year 5 [TPA5] event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments which are detailed here: viewtopic.php?f=89&t=207126 All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You do not need to do anything more than join one or more of the TPA5 events that will be announced on Mondays. Check back on the scoreboard to see how you're doing:
When signing up, please choose either North or South. 40 players will be split into 2 divisions (North and South). Those signing up last may not get their choice if one division is already full. Due to game load and the poly games, this tourney is premium only. This tourney will test you on several different settings with several different maps. Can you be the Jack of All Trades? Round 1 will be the seeding phase. You will play 5 1 v 1 games (1 game each on City Mogul, Classic, Doodle Earth, Woodboro and Promo Summit). All opponents will be from opponents in your division. You may play the same player more than once since the opponents will be drawn randomly. All games in this round will have the following settings: Std, Auto, Seq, Flat, Parachute, Fog, 20 round limit. Players will then be seeded by wins, then by net score in the three games. So someone who gained 90 points in their four wins and lost 10 points in their loss (net 80) will be scored lower than someone who gained 78 points but won all five games. Round 2 will be the group phase. Within each division, players will be divided into 4 groups of 5 players each. You will play each other player twice for a total of 8 matches (all matches to be sent at once). Settings for this round will be: Auto, Seq, Esc, Adj, Fog Trench, 20 round limit. Maps for the first four matches (all poly 2) will be Patch Wars, King of the Mountain, New Zealand and 4 star Meats. The other four matches will be poly 3 and will be played on The Citadel, CCU, Fractured America and Madness. The best won loss record from each division will advance to the finals. In the case of a tie, head to head will be the first tiebreaker. If the head to head is tied, the deciding tiebreaker will be who was ranked higher going into the group phase. In the championship round, all 8 players left will compete in one round robin. You will play each other player once. Maps to be used will be the same as the maps in round 2 except there will be no New Zealand. Settings are Poly 4, Manual, Seq, No Spoils, No Reinforcements, Sunny, 20 round limit. Best overall record in the championship wins the tourney. In case of a tie, head to head will break the tie. Those not accepting games in Round 1 will be eliminated from the tourney. If possible, replacements will be brought in at this stage only. If no replacements are available, the games will be forfeited and 20 points will be awarded for seeding purposes. If players do not join the group phase, they will be replaced by me. I will post which division I am actually competing in. If a player does not join the finals, the second placed person from their division will replace them.

You don't have to join and I'm only letting you in since its TPA 5. Quit your complaining. I've had enough.
