Open Beta Site to All Premium Users

Concise description:

Allow anyone access to the Beta Site and the Beta Forum

Specifics/Details:

Currently, Beta is limited to a few users who must sign ups
It would be nice for the public to see what is being worked on
More testers can never hurt
People would be able to play games that don't impact their score (making this 2 suggestions in 1)

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

Communication and Transparency are key

The idea makes sense in principle. But we may be putting way too much load on the beta site by opening it up to everyone.

Yeah this would be one of several concerns. But as I told DY, it's something we will talk about internally to determine feasibility.

Pray tell how that goes. I like the idea some, but a seed of doubt remains that it may not turn out for the best. Maybe some more restrictions on it, including length of time played and a requirement to give feedback and report bugs/glitches. But hey, I'm a freemie Cadet, who cares what I think

They are always willing to accept more Beta testers. Regardless of whether this proposal is accepted or not, you can apply to join the Beta test team if you are interested in doing it.

Also, for anyone interested in applying to join the beta team - our job is to help test the functionality that's *already been developed and released* on the beta site. We don't propose and debate new features. That's what Suggestions is for.
