---The Age of Merchants Map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry furnace and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. There will be two days for you to post any objections; if no one has posted any protest after two days the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. If after two days there is still discussion going on it may continue until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

If you don't mind, lets get back on topic. ;)

Dim, is there any way to make the key words of the legend stand out a little more? I think that will make it easier to understand, as at first glance it looks like it is going to be a horrendous read. But if you bold or some how stylize some of the key words in each bonus, I think that will help the comprehension of the bonus system. What do you all think?

do you understand this better if i bold some parts of it or if i use other colours or sizes?

no. i don't think so. the legend is ok as it is as numerous people agreed before.

PS: andy this is the fourth day that passed after final forge. there was nothing to do there is nothing to do now. just as other maps that got quenched when mine did this one could have been also quenched but for some unknown reason you decided to ignore it even though there was no need to delay the quenching as there was no extra feedback on it. further more after 4 days have passed instead of quenching it you come and make requests for changes. tell me please, what stopped you from asking this change when you made the final forge?

i'm getting really tired of waiting for nothing. this thread has been delayed numerous times for reasons only you could possibly know.

firstly you don't even bother posting here even though you've posted in all kinds of other threads. after 44 pages and 74 updates (more than anybody ever did) you finally decide to post here. after some more unnecessary waiting you final forge it. then when i check the thread exactly 2 days after final forge i see no requests have been made and i only had congrats messages. and then you come on the forum. you quench great lakes but don't even bother to look at this thread. why?
and finally after 4 days have passed from forging you come and make a request that does not help but on the contrary it disrupts the harmony of the map.

i don't understand why the foundry works different for some people. why some get it easy and others have to struggle for it? i know in reality it's all about relationships and ass kissing but does it really have to be like this in online communities?
why do some map makers get ignored while others are basically final forged without reason?
as i understood final forge comes when the map is 99% complete and all the major aspects are sorted.

well let's look at some maps.
eastern front. did not get forge status. the explanation was it had forge status but lost it when he put it on vacation. i agree qwert can be a pain in the ass but as soon as he took the map out of vacation it should have been returned to forge status. not only was it not returned but it did not get forge even after keyogi did some improvements. this is not notmal.

the netherlands get forged when it has way bigger problems than qwert's map?

why is the d-day forged when there are ample discussions about gameplay? come on they are talking about gameplay (which means the gameplay is not yet done) and you final forge it. i agree the map is looking good but final forge at this early stage is a mistake, especially considering some other maps that did not get forge. why is doodle earth not forged? or china? or battle for australia? all 3 of them are at least at the level of d-day or even in a more advanced stage. and yet d-day gets it and those are ignored. why exactly 3 days after final forge some maps get quenched while others like CCC have to wait for weeks for no reason? when i asked you why is not CCC quenched along with the others. you did not give me a single reason. is that normal? why do cartographers have the obligation to give reason if they refuse a change on the map and not only do they have to give the reason but they also must prove a valid point? and why is it ok for you to just ignore or give answers like "quiet you" ??

long text to read. but i hate it when people aren't treated equally and i just had to say this. i just want some explanations (valid ones) nothing more.

Andy - I had a quick look back...

All of the significant words are "capitalised" to bring attention to them... Is that enough?

I.e.

Ports and Docks connect to each other.
Transport Resource Pairs to the Local Market.
+1 Bonus for holding a Port and the Pirate Cove.

don't bother yeti_c, he'll probably wait 3-4 days befor answering and then he'll make another request. probably something that's already been discussed and dealt with. for some unknown reasons the cartographers aren't treated equally. i really hoped that in an online community we could form an ideal world were there's no hate or prejudice but apparently some people can't do that.

PS: andy this is the fourth day that passed after final forge.
first off nobody actually gets quenched two days after final forge. second of all andy has said in the past sometimes he is busy, sometimes he doesnt have a day or two to get something done...things happen at slightly different rates. a bunch of had to wait weeks to get quenched maps posted because lack was on vacation...its life.

youre not recieving as many final forge comments because people have stopped reading your thread. you fill it up with pages of worthless trash...and people get tired of reading it to see another post about crackers.
