My Tournaments Page

Concise description:

• Add a My Tournaments Page

Specifics/Details:

• Add a page which lets you see your current active, pending, eliminated, and recently completed tournaments, much like the current My Games page
• At least have the page list autotournaments, but if community run tournament support is possible, that'd be even better
• Maybe have the active and eliminated tournaments give basic tournament stats like how many games out of the round have been completed, how many the player has won/lost/still in progress, etc.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

• I've recently started joining some autotournaments and it's difficult to have a good idea of how many I've joined, and which ones, without going through the entire list of autotournaments that are up and looking for the 'Unjoin' button. I don't know about everyone else, but it'd be great to have a central place to see a list of my pending and active tournaments so I can have an good idea of where everything stands without having to do all the current work every time.

Best suggestion in ages. You should include the same for the tournaments one is running.

Something to that effect has already been discussed between myself and blake. I believe that conversation included player lists of tournaments which could at some point be used for either a My Tournaments (as a player) tab or searching tournaments by who played in them.

I like this suggestion as well. I was just thinking we need a feature like this when I was participating in a speed auto the other day, and it was hard to go back to the page to track the progress.

yeah, this could be complicated but, would it be possible to click on a given tournament we are participating in, and for example click on 1/4 finals, or round robin 4th leg, or whatever the structure to see how are oponents are progressing?

all this could be added in the "tournaments" general tab, and these could be secondary tabs within it. but i think as tournament organizers or participants we know the current system isn't very user friendly... hopefully there is the "watch this game" add on, to follow what's going on and when games of a given round have ended.

It would also be great if the system could automatically display a bracket of some sort. Although that might be challenging for those more complicated tournaments that don't necessarily have a single elimination format.

There's a Tournaments tab on the My Games page right now, but it seems to list all of the AutoTournaments, not just the ones you're a part of.

Yes, that's a good point -- hopefully the infrastructure is already in place to make this happen for all tournaments.
