Comments: I've been watching this guy because of the way our game went down. What I've noticed is that he is constantly crass in his games and using lots of choice words to talk down to people. He openly admitted in one game that he does that to manipulate people into playing his style of game. That's one strategy, but he's very degrading in the process, and very much bullying others, which I think fall under the above categories. You'll noticed many players talk about foeing him. Many also just let him verbally abuse, I wasn't no so smart and got dragged into a verbal war. He blames many of his loses on other people all while calling them names. He openly admits he's been sick and on edge this week, so it may not be his normal self. I looked at his ratings when he was first on CC and they are much better, so it appears to be a more recent thing. I'm not here to get him kicked off the website, but I believe people need to be aware of it and he probably needs to be warned. I will also leave him a message that I posted this so he can have a chance to defend himself.

He did exactly this to me too. Game 13563140. I have him foed now, I forget exactly what he said, but a combination of complaining, flame baiting, and generally just being rude. It seems like he does this often, which in my opinion makes it worse. I mean, everyone has a bad game or two, but it seems like he's been consistently offending other players on the site.

Unless bigotry is apparent the offending player is very, very unlikely to receive sanctions.

After reading the chat in these games I don't see anything that is against the rules. This is the perfect situation for using the FOE feature. This from the community guidelines.

Annoying Players:

Sometimes you will find yourself in a game with an annoying player. If you do not like their comments in the chat or their playing style, you can add that player to your foe list. Once on the list, you will no longer have to read their comments, and they will not be able to join future games with you if you joined the game first. To modify your Foe (and Friends) List, check out the Friends and Foe Page.
If a player's comments do not violate the rules posted below, then do not ask a moderator or administrator to intervene when a player annoys you. This includes curse words and foul language. They are allowed on this site and would be too difficult to moderate every one.
After you are eliminated or the game ends, you will have the opportunity to rate your opponent. Use the ratings and up to 4 tags to describe your opponent and warn/encourage future participants.

Thanks for looking into it. This is the outcome I expected. He's been a lot better over the last couple days since I posted this. Artimis-I disagree, it's not trash talk, he's being disrespectful to people and their quality of play, blaming his loses on others, and not just once, but time and again, using inappropriate language (ex: cunt). He provokes other uses into an emotional response just to get under their skin and piss them off, baiting them, as written below from the rules for this forum. But again, thanks for looking into it, I don't disagree with the outcome and I appreciate the time taken Evil Semp.

Flame baiting (or just baiting) is the intentional attempt to get someone else to flame.
Just because you didn't directly attack another user does not make your post a meaningful contribution. If your post's intent was to provoke another user into an emotional response, to get under their skin or to otherwise piss them off, you're baiting them. Hopefully the user doesn't take the bait, but you'll probably get a warning from a mod.
