I meant to do this ages ago, but only just remembered.
I've played 124 trench matches 1vs1.
3 have gone beyond 20 rounds.
1 of those was das schloss, and 1 was my opponent effectively holding me hostage for about 10 turns due to no knowledge of the map until i told him how to win the game
none have gone beyond 30 rounds
In our first round tie in this comp my trench matches were the first to finish, not going beyond round 9 in any
Only posting this to show you that it's not something to worry about in future. Too many people have misconceptions about trench
