Havoc Boards Tournament

please can someone explain what the hells going on with this tournament.
how did i get into a game i was not invited to or joined ?
how did a guested player get invited ?
how did a non active member get invited also ?
please remove me from any involvement in this tournament.
if this is another April fools creating Havoc not funny
i can deal with the multi or the deadbeat but having to put up with a mod :evil:

I ended up with two inactives in my game. I agree that this was a failure of a tournament organization. Hopefully this is no reflection on how the site is planning on moving forward with other new 'ventures'....

5 players in my game, 3 of which missed their first turns, so ill just use them as shields against the other person I am playing against because once they all drop, i will be well protected, is this wrong?

5 players in my game, only me and another player are actually playing. One person hasn't been on the site since July 1st, and another since Sept. 2012. What the $%*@ is going on with this tournament?

The only other player who's active last played a game in December 2011, so the tournament did its job in bringing back folks to the site, but it's a 1v1 game now.

It just brought their accts back, the players aren't even playing, whether they said VIA email that they wanted to play or not, CC auto joined all games, so they probably don't even know that they have a game going on anyways. Whack tourney, but hey, free prizes! So we can't complain O:)

Not for automated tournaments, such as this one. It says on the tournament page what to do.

We've corrected Round 2 issues and restarted the games so that they should be fixed. An XML error was causing this version of the "cup" to use the Classic XML while people were on the Australia map causing quite the mishap!

All should be better now, though! Good luck!

Since no one was able to take any turns in any of the Round 2 Games, I think it's worth the change! After all -- better to have a chance to play at all!

Soon enough, you will automatically be paired with other winners from the round. Be patient though -- if it's early in the round, then it may take some time for other members to fill a game with you!
