i dont care about Iraq, theres just something wierd going on between Iran purchasing Uranium from Australia & North Korea testing Nuclear missiles. & i dont think America will be last to this crisis because Bush has already consulted the UN, China, Japan, & South Korea urging them 2 unite against North Korea. & as u all noticed with Iraq & Saddam Hussein, George W Bush does not practice appeasement with other rulers liek democrats & most European leaders. Wut Kim is doing is suspiciously like Hitler except in the communist form. He has a strong propaganda & his ppl blindly worship him. As long as he flies low & doesnt really try 2 conquer any other country, he will get most countries to appease to him because of his not quite developed, but advancing nuclear missiles

Well, where else are they gonna get the Uranium? America?

And a better parallel for Kim would be Stalin, since Hitler abandoned the Socialist part of his party once he was in power.

People are going to appease N. Korea for the same reason you buy the screaming child the toy: to shut him up for an hour.

Did you read his posts before? I was mocking him... because he compared Kim Jong Il to hitler to over estimate him and make him sound like a bigger threat.. So I was mocking him by over exaggerating him as hitler.. If you read it'd make perfect sense...

Ummm if you can't see the problem in our public schools you're blind. And if you are so in favor of free will wouldn't the option of school vouchers be an extention of free will?

I'm not against public education..... but they either need to raise the standards or offer school vouchers cause kids are graduating who can't even read their diploma's!

taxes are essential for a country to run.
With the states, you guys don't have free healthcare, and your school system (highschool-gradeschool-etc) sucks (university is one of the finest).
I personally don't mind paying the extra tax for the free healthcare in canada. because I know if I'm ever hurt (which I never have been, or atleast bad enough to go to the hospital for), I can still get treated. People are hurt everyday and can't afford the hospital expenses. I wouldn't mind if the government raised the taxes a bit (20%) so that we could have more free things.

I think its like norway or sweeden or somewhere near there, they have like 80% tax, but its free schooling, free mostly everything

ok much as i hate to do this but jay has it more right... if he is paying for private school he is also paying for public, taxes are going to public, no taxes go to private schools, because private schools are made to have income by what they are being paid... and so therefore the government dosnt give them money, and they are not told or inforced by the government to follow public guidelines that the public schools are doing... trust me my cousins are going to private schools all their lives (personally i think they are babied way to much by parents and private school that when they get into the real life they will be shocked all to hell)

if he is going to private, thats a personal choice. your not gonna get out of paying for public. The country is run off of like 2 people just paying taxes. Everyone has to pitch in so that its easier. I don't know exactly how the system works in the states, but you may be paying for public school but they're also paying for your defence. so its easier if you don't complain

Its called altruism... just because you arent using the services doesnt mean you shouldn't have to pay for them... I'm not using the war in Iraq but the government still takes money out of my paycheck to pay off the bombs... I'm not using the roads(no liscense)... I still get money taken out of my paycheck to pay for them.. Just because you aren't using the public schools doesnt mean your money shouldnt go for them...hell its not even altruism.. Its common sense.. You still have the free will to go send your kids to public school thats not different however, you dont have the free will to just not pay your taxes because those are essential for government functions one of which being public school....just becasue you are rich enough to send your kids to private school.....

Not to mention in republican states such as Idaho the school underfunding Is very very very prevalent... My parents are teachers at schools here in Idaho and besides being vastly underpaid and both of them having to work just to pay the bills they are also watching teachers/janitors/other workers being fired off like crazy because no one is wanting to fund the schools..... on top of that now the republicans are trying to introduce school vouchers which allow mostly the rich(who afford private) to decide that they dont want to pay their taxes benefitting public school... sorry to tell you but paying those taxes is an american duty and if you can have your taxes going towards private school then i should be able to choose where mine go to...unlike the war, roads, and the porkbarrell shit they have their hands in...
