Hey there! New tournament over here. First of all: everybody will choose one college or university to represent (or High School or any educational institute for that matter, I'm not one to be too picky on it, just as long as you choose one). And one "home" map.
For example: "I'm in. I'll represent Harvard University. My home map will be Classic."Freemiums are welcome.
Tournament Structure:Phase One: Eight 4-player games. Random map. Winners advance to the Round of 16. Losers advance to phase two.
Phase Two: Eight 3-player games. Random map. Winners advance to the elimination round.
Elimination Round: 1vs1 games. From this point on, this will be a double-elimination bracket. Two legs, home and away. 3rd game in random map if a tiebreaker is needed.
For anyone who is not familliar with the double-elimination kind of tournament, I personally liked the wikipedia explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-eli ... tournament.Settings:auto
