Diotte12 & Cocoa Multis or Secret Alliances

Postby Zepy12 on Sun May 06, 2007 6:40 pm

Subject line: Diottle12 & Cocoa multis or secret alliances

These are suspected Multis/Secret Alliance

Suspect users: Diotte12 and Cocoa

Game number: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=411269

Comments: Blue and Green have attacked me (Yellow) and red almost exclusively. Each as allowed the other to keep one army defended continents with out any attacks.

I've already let Fireside Poet know about this, but thought I would post here too so everyone would know.

I have played other games and seen other games where one allows certain things in a game. You are just a poor loser and by the way Diotte 12 is a child, he's my son and I too am learning how things work. Teaching him the game is all part of life, how to stragize etc. I have nothing to hid and once he understands the game well and stragey he'll be playing on his own. You take the game way to serious and time to grow up. You and your buddy that had no part of the game ( maybe you two have the double account ) need to get a lesson on life and watch what you say on the "Chat". Remember you are not playing for money, it is suppose to be fun. If you hand it out then learn to take it.
Do you not have friends on the conquer club you play against and have an alliance with, funny I see it all the time on conquer club and I don't go running to bad mouth them, part of the game. Learn to have FUN and enjoy playing.

If that is indeed true...you should have announced that at the beginning of the game. Not saying so gives the illusion of "teaming" and an unannounced alliance, which is against the rules. Believe me, I don't take this game seriously...I'm one of the original members of this group, have played some 300 games, and NEVER have been called a sore loser. I don't care if I lose fairly...and believe me I've lost many that way. What I don't enjoy is spending time on a game only to see it wasted away due to unannounced alliances or just out right poor play. If you want to learn how to play, great...I would have been more than happy to give you and your "son" some pointers. (In fact, I've given away many a points to newbies who were learning the game.)

I'll let the CC community be your judge.

Actually my husband contacted Conquer Club and explained and they have no problem with this at all. My husband has even asked if there is some way we can get a kids section/family section so the "Chat" is friendly and not rude. If you have been around so long and you saw my son making errors why were you rude why did you not explain yourself? I'm new at this too, and my husband tries his best to explain why you do this and that etc. but we also have to learn and if players can not see this what are we suppose to do. You say I should have been up front at the beginning and where do I post this in the "Chat line"? You sound much more approachable now than before but to bad we are couldn't be a little nicer on the "Chat" at the beginning and then no one's feelings would get bent out of shape. I see so many "Chat" and they are rude and uncalled for and that is not part of a game no matter how old one is. When I see rude comments I am now putting them on my ignore list and doing the same for my son even if we are not playing against them. People take this game much to seriously. We need to teach all and ask questions before we accuse anyone of anything and this is a rule in life we should all be following.

Post from the wrong account? I thought Diotte was supposed to be a child?

Dear Mrs. or Mr. Diotte12 or Son, (i'm confused)

Here is the chat from the game:

2007-05-04 23:00:44 - Zepy12: gl all...have fun.
2007-05-04 23:04:48 - magimellow: good luck as well
2007-05-04 23:15:32 - Zepy12: you've got to be kidding me blue. this early in the game?
(Said after blue makes very odd early attack for no reason)

2007-05-05 10:05:09 - Diotte12: Not quite sure what you mean yellow? Anyway good luck to all. My first time playing this game.

(OK, this should have been a clue)
2007-05-05 10:36:24 - Zepy12: it shows.
(Perhaps perceived as rude...but just pointing out the obvious)
2007-05-05 11:39:57 - Diotte12: Well I'm having fun learning a new game!
2007-05-05 13:02:34 - Cocoa: Good luck and have fun all.
(Here, if Cocoa (green) had stepped in and said..."Yo, wait...its my son...and I'm teaching him how to play, etc", it would have explained the next series of illogical moves...and any person with common sense would have taken as an unannounced alliance...which, again, is against the rules.)

If in fact CC has been contacted by this "family", please moderator post here.

Thanks.

I replied on Diotte12 as you sent comments only to my son which I could not see and we still do not know how you did this. For someone I actually starting to give credit to, wow. Why did you not make comments to all to see. Anyhow I will not bother with you anymore because I now see you make no sense and just like to stir the pot and I refuse to be a part of it. We will play with others and enjoy the "GAME", not like some. Best of luck in your future games.

I have no earthly idea of what you are talking about. I've only posted comments here and in the game chat. All of my comments are available for all to read...as are the rules posted on this site.

1- No multiple accounts

2- No secret alliances

read them, abide by them, and we won't have any more problems. Again, if you had announced your "training" status...which then leads to "unannounced alliances" we wouldn't be having this discussion...geez, I'm beginning to sound like a broken record.

Tis rather odd then when I open the game to play I do not nor did my son see any comments from you on my account in the "Chat line" only on his. Rather odd maybe CC needs to check this out because all of this has been blown way out of content. By the way I did say I made a mistake yet you do go on not letting it rest. Wow!

As mentioned above...see FAQ#40...which I have kindly copied here for you:

40. Game Chat messages disappeared, what happened?

You placed the author(s) on your Ignore List, so their messages were filtered out of the Game Chat.

Un-ignore me, and you will be able to read my chat messages in the game chat.
