I understood that "matches won" means the most single games won, the single games (8 of them) which are played as a part of one match-up. am I wrong?
A "match" is a "round" between 2 teams. If Team A plays Team B they play 9 games (singles, dubs, trips and a quad), that's 1 match. If Team A beats Team B 12-8, Team A wins the match and gets 3 points. The 3 points is their score.
4.- Extra Games:
Apart from the above mentioned games there will be 16 Assassin and Terminator games throughout the tournament. They will be 4 and 8 player games with varying settings. Every time they are set up, I will ask every team to assign one player to join a game. The teams of the players that win one of those games will receive 1 point. This will have no effect on the team score, points only come into play at the end of the tournament if there would be a tie in score and wins.
If two teams are equal in score, matches won and points won (points won during the matches, i.e., 20 max.), then the extra games come into play to decide the tie. However, I really don't see it coming that far.
