Yes Trench warfare are the title of the map but unfortunately it have nothing to do with the new update. Ita a new Game Option (previously known as Adjacent Attacks)
as this map is designed (for option 1v1) this new feature will i believes be unnecessary, becourse the game was from the start supposed to work that way. How it will work in multi player, the effeckt will vanish some but im sure it will be loads of fun :P

The status are, XML are getting checked/fixed and issues. (hopefully soon ;) )

I'm checking your xml.....shouldn't be Image and Image colors the opposite considering the target colors? :-k

Ok, first of all thanks for the quick update. :)

In the xml connections look good, neutral values match but there're a couple of things to change/add

On the small version I suggest to move the coords of A2 a bit down to have them like A1; to have this Image like this Image.
The second is much better! ;)
Finally I don't see the fox-hole bonuses (continents) in the xml, maybe you missed them.
I will give the gold stamp to this one as soon as the above things are fixed. ;)

Does this map have specific XML for 1 vs 1 games ?

For instance, I understand that Knights has 1 vs 1 gameplay wherein you start on one side of the board only; but also is compatible with multiplayer games.

ManBungalow, the game with this one is the same way. Unlike Knights though, as the sides are not completely even, one player will have a couple more neutrals to fight and the other will have a couple more troops to deploy.

          Beta - Quenching

---The Final Forge period has concluded for the Trench Warfare Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Beta Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any Lack vetoes).

While the map is in BETA Play, there are a couple of administrative tasks that are required of the mapmaker(s) in addition to the initial gameplay testing:
    1. Please ensure that the first post of the thread contains all the necessary information to help future visitors to the development thread; it's particularly important to ensure the most recent images are there, along with any helpful guides (such as gameplay quirks/nuances or the location/size of any starting neutrals etc.)
    2. Finally, it is the responsibility of the mapmaker(s) to ensure that they respond to further feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
