hey all you people who were curious enough to look at my tournament. I thank you!
I am accepting people with a score of 1400 and higher!
I bet you were wondering what the heck those words in my title mean! If you already knew what the words meant you are a LIAR or you wasted your time in college majoring in English . The words were used to entice you to click the link but they also explain what my tournament is about. Here are the words definitions.....
Definitions: Convivial - festive, merry company Internecine - destructive, slaughter, deadly, to kill out, exterminate perspicacious - perceptive, understanding
How words apply to the tournament: Convivial - We are all here to have fun and party. So it is a convivial environment. (until someone has bad dice internecine - In this tournament you will be all alone! you must kill all others to achieve victory! perspicacious - You must have good strategy to win the games. (or just be lucky)
The tournament will have 64 players and some reserves. There will be 3 elimination rounds and then 1 final round for a total of 4 rounds. You will play 8 games at a time and the top four players will advance to the next round. You will randomly be put into groups of 8 using random.org.
If there is a tie that affects the 4 people moving on you will play a 1 v 1 game on the random map with the same settings as the tournament. in the finals if there is a tie for 1st then we will do the same thing.
You will be given 48 hours to join games before you forfeit and I bring in a reserve. Unless you p.m. a reasonable explanation for not joining.
Sergent first class and above only. So you must have a higher score than 1400. Also premiums only since it is 8 games at a time.
I definitely enjoyed the tournament. Thx for resusitating this one Nebsmith. I'd never made the finals to anything in CClub. I'm thankful for the chance to have played with the opponents in the last 2 rounds. Very worthy adversaries all. I consider myself lucky (literally) to have made it so far.
Thanks again. Look forward to more in the future. Congrats to the winner (which has not been announced, as yet)
