We should always give everyone a chance to speak before we end the day in a lynch. No need to hurry, nothing is going anywhere.
Anyhow from a strategic standpoint it would make more sense for the Double Voter to hammer the bomb than for the Tracker to do it.

Well, yeah bulletproof is the best option. The downside being that the mafia now know who the bulletproof is, in the event that nagerous is not the last scum...

Oh...forgot we only need 4 to lynch. I cast my secret vote when I voted, so I think he's hammered. We don't have anything to worry about though. The busdriver's dead, so if the tracker got a result, he can't be the bomb.

He can be a Mafia Bomb. Although if that is the case then it doesn't matter if anyone dies lynching him as we win anyway...

Since the bus driver is dead im pretty confident on this unless a second person visited him but it's worth a try...think we should have let nag defend himself first...o well

Vote Count

nagerous - ???, Ghostly, Clever, Everywhere (LYNCH)

I could write random jibberjabber, but what for?

nagerous, mafia bomb, has been lynched!

Town has won the game!

Alt1978 – 11 (JOAT)
MoB/Drunkmonkey – 14 (Doublevoter)
Djfireside – 17 (cop)
Soundman – 22 (vigilante)

Nagerous – 6 (bomb)
Dazza – 6 (busdriver)
Somethingclever – 9 (tracker)

Edocsil – 9 (framer)
Pmchugh – 1 (inventor)
Ragian – 1 (doctor)
Freezie – 1 (1-shot governor)
Spiesr – 7 (watcher)
Everywhere – 7 (bulletproof)
Ghostly447 – 7 (roleblocker)

Shield – 7 (ninja)

N1
Ghostly roleblocks Nagerous
Dazza swaps Edoc and Soundman
Soundman does nothing
PMC hides behind Everywhere
Edocsil frames pmchugh
Spies watches Everywhere
Clever tracks pmchugh
Djfireside investigates Ragian
Ragian protects Soundman
Alt kills Freezie
Alt kills (JOAT) Ragian

N2

Ghostly roleblocks PMC
Dazza swaps Soundman and Clever
Soundman kills Alt
Edocsil frames PMC
Spies watches Soundman
Clever tracks Edocsil
PMC rolecops Edocsil
Alt protects Nagerous
Edocsil kills Dazza

N3

Ghostly roleblocks spiesr
PMC roleblocks Monkey
Soundman does nothing
Spies watches Clever
Clever tracks Nagerous
Nagerous kills PMC

I think Soundman and spiesr are probably the best candidates for MVP.

Simply securing the vigilante role earned Soundman several points as it was the one I reckoned to be the most dangerous along with busdriver, but he also knew not to use it unless he had a clear target (like Alt in N2).

Spiesr's didn't accomplish much as far as night actions go, but as far as I remember his posts were some of the most intelligent ones with not deducing wrong conclusions and stuff like that. For instance, he was the one that "correctly" defended Shield when Everywhere concluded that Shield faked commuter. While Shield had indeed faked, Spiesr was viewing it from the correct angle.

Honorable mention to pmchugh for realizing that getting to the bottom of the vig/JOAT issue was the best possible D2 move.

The 4 roles that were not picked were loved person, commuter and both masons.

I was considering running this game again. I figured mafia would make better moves if they could use this game's mistakes as experience (trying to pick vig/busdriver, not killing N1 if they had a JOAT, maybe not picking ninja/framer to avoid a massclaim breaking their legs etc). However, maybe this setup would still favour town (everyone being a power role should make massclaiming a pretty good strategy).

I'd like advice on how to change that (in the mafia scum version, for instance, you'd only PM the mod your first pick and if your first pick was taken, you'd be a VT - or mafia goon) in order to make things more balanced, unless you think the game would not have balance problems if played again as is.

This game is broken. I enjoyed it, but a MC will break it open like an egg. Any town with a touch of intelligence will make everyone claim D1 and then from there it is just claim all actions at night. Eventually the scum will get boned one way or another by the track/watcher cop and the BD/JOAT/Doc can keep the important players alive for a while, long enough anyhow.

Re: Power Role Draft Mafia - Town Wins!

Here's my list:

1st - bomb
2nd - doublevoter
3rd - 1-shot governor
4th - JOAT
5th - inventor
6th - doctor
7th - busdriver
8th - ninja
9th - vigilante
10th - roleblocker
11th - framer
12th - tracker
13th - watcher
14th - commuter
15th - cop

I got ninja, which was 8th on my list. From the very beginning I was planning my fake claim, and I thought "Commuter! Yes! Prefect!" mostly because it was unlikely to be chosen, and it would be close to my ninja role. As you can see, I luckily picked commuter, which was not taken. I think the biggest mistake on my part was not putting commuter 8th on my fake list, which would have been more realistic.

The waffling I did with the player's picked numbers was all made up and logically laid out as if I were town. I looked at the list afterwards and saw that edoc and nag were in the same section, so I thought, "Yes! If town follows this then either edoc or nag won't be even considered as mafia!" But then I flipped scum and all my waffling was wasted and left to spoil.

Including the list I made of roles I thought would be beneficial to Mafia. That list was honestly the list I thought that would help mafia out the most, I didn't take into consideration my scum buddies' roles when I made it. Too bad I missed a few points and didn't make until after the scum faction could have used it

And you guys give us way too much credit. We didn't coordinate our numbers or anything. In fact, nag didn't send a list so Rodion used alt's list for nag as well. I feel our loss was mostly our fault, as my role was one of the most essential for our survival, especially with a genius tracker in this game ;)

I completely "Oh Yeah'd!" when alt got dj lynched. Nice going, buddy. *high five*. I completely saw alt's demise coming, although I thought he could doc himself? :-s

I also feel nag would have survived if he hadn't counterclaimed edoc. Edoc was slipping into lynch as it was, pushing it didn't seem to do much good but get the trackers on nag. (nice work there, clever)

I agree with Rodion that spiesr and soundman contributed to the game, but I think that MVP should go to Clever for catching a whole half the Mafia faction. If it weren't for him, we would've had a chance :x
VOTE CLEVER MVP

I honestly coudln't believe you guys with the whole linkage between me, clever, and ghostly. Seriously guys? What the hay, I kind of liked it because it might have lead to 2 mislynches, = good for Mafia :) Then PMC stopped it at the last minute

Nag, why PMC? Why didn't you out the obvious claimed tracker? Makes no sense :? (was it because you thought he'd be watched?)

Anyways, Good game everyone! =D> I enjoyed playing the short while that I did, and BTW, at the beginning I wasn't posting because the game confused me, I just hadn't figured out a way to "help" without giving myself away ;)

@Rodion, if you make another I have a suggestion, but it kind of makes it a whole nother game:
What if you had players PM you a list of 5 roles out of how many available and then they randomly get one of their roles independently of one another? This means there could be duplicates, and it would make hiding for the mafia easier, and might balance the game a little. IDK. It's your call.
