He knows dam well what the rule is and he does not agree with it and he is trying to catch me in saying some thing that he can turn into his favor. Don't kid yourself most will agree with me they just wont say out loud like i will i have nothing to loose by saying it. You want me out next year fine i don't get anything for running this league except crap from people trying to bend the rules or from people trying to protect there clan mate who are in the wrong.
It don't say anywhere in my contract that i have to be nice to any one but i am, most that know me know full well that i have been nothing more than nice to josko i actually really like the guy i think deep down he cars about the game and i like any one that has a passion for the game.
You don't need to be an asshole to not give Josko a loop hole. You repeatedly went out of your way to NOT answer his question.
Josko's question was worded politely and really wasn't that difficult:
josko.ri wrote:I have 2 questions about clarifying the rules, because I am not sure if I understand it correct.
1. "Unlimited is allowed with a limit of 2 games total per home set on trips and quad games only"
I am not sure how this rule applies about using unlimited forts in doubles. There are 2 explanations that I can say about this rule. which one of those explanations is correct?
1.1. "Only" may mean that restrictions applies for triples and quads, but not apply to doubles. That would mean using unlimited forts in doubles is not restricted at all.
or
1.2. "Only" may also mean that allowing maximal 2 games applies only for triples and quads, but not apply to doubles. That would mean using unlimited forts in doubles is not allowed at all.
2. "Unlimited is allowed with a limit of 2 games total per home set on trips and quad games only"
"Championship Matches will be a 41 game clan war involving 8 doubles, 16 triples, and 16 quads. All games to be played in 2 sets - first set will be 16 quad games and 1 tie-breaker game (Random Triples - Esc, Chained, Sunny). The second set will be 8 doubles and 16 triple games."
It is clearly written that in Finals it will be 2 sets, and that 2 games total are allowed per (one) home set. does it mean it will be allowed 4 unlimited home games total, 2 in first set (quads), and 2 in second set (triples)?
The answer to the first question is "1.2." The answer to the second question (which I don't believe you have yet even acknowledged) is "a clan may select a total of 4 unlimited games in the finals (two in each home set). They can be made up of any combination of trip or quad games."
Yet, instead of just answering the question, you chose to play games with him:

Josko already quoted this rule in his request for clarification of the rule. YELLING back the same ambiguous wording that he quoted to you is rude, condescending, and not at all helpful.... This is coming from a player who is not a clan mate or even an acquaintance of Josko; just someone who recognizes when a tournament organizer is going out of his way to NOT be nice to one of the participants in his tourney.
To many folks the rule's intent is clear. However to others, especially those whose first language is not English, it was not. Please just answer the question next time. Thanks to DJ for doing just that.
